“Let me start off by saying that it is hard finding authentic soul food outside of the south. With that being said, my meal was hot and flavorful. I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! I didn’t get any dessert but maybe next time I’ll try a pie or the cobbler. Suela’s soul food does not miss so give it a try!!“

“Had a wonderful meal at Ilé LA. The entire 4-course dinner was presented beautifully, was well-flavored, and vibrant. The food was nourishing and so was the history and storytelling behind it. The care and intention in the food and presentation really made for a special evening. Highly recommend if you’d like to experience elevated pan-African cuisine. The theme of our dinner was a taste of West Africa and included pepper soup, a honey bean hummus, and salad, jollof rice, lamb, catfish, chicken, and fonio, a non-alcoholic beverage, and puff puff with ice cream. Everything was excellent! Would absolutely eat at Chef David’s table again.“

“My family used Distinctive Catering for my aunts memorial and the food was absolutely amazing. The chefs were beyond professional and extremely nice. Trip Tip was cooked beyond perfection, allowing for different preferences of how the meat was cooked. The Luau chicken was hands down the best that I have ever had. Plenty of food options. “I was not expecting the level of service I received from Pronto Hookah. I expected to just get a bunch of equipment and staff that only moved when you forced them to, but these guys were legit. Always attending every table and making sure everything is okay. Supreme service and will be booking with them again.

I had doubts about hookah catering because I didn't think it was worth it but this changed my mind, didn't have to deal with any cleaning or setup headaches, it was all taken care of.“

“The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. FYI: Ample free parking on the roof, enter on Western Ave (Petco).“

“The pace looks truly grand once you pull into their driveway. They really know how to put on a show with the screen to welcome you to the particular event. The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. But once you pull into the small street, you’ll see that it is in an enclave of Los Angeles.

“These churros are so delicious 😋 you won’t stop at just eating one 🤤. Jose was there with a young lady I didn’t get her name but they both were very professional and welcoming. They offered some toppings for the churros as well. I only tried the chocolate dip but to be honest the churros by them selves are just so good. I highly recommend booking them.“

“The flavor of the tacos is good, compared to other taquerias in this area, except that they are tacos with a single tortilla, and in general I like that they serve two tortillas. In general, customer service is not very friendly. They are only involved in their work and don't take the time to say hello or say thank you for the purchase.“

We had a plated dinner, passed hors d'oeuvres, multiple cocktail hour stations, and a huge dessert station, and every single item was outstanding. “This is my favorite late night snack. I get the carne asada tacos with avocado salsa on the side. The best carne asada tacos!! The flavor is delicious. They are consistent so it’s always delicious. I put my friend on and now she’s hooked. I legit crave this truck!

Parking: Parking is fair

Kid-friendliness: It’s a taco truck so you can take your kids however it is on a public street so always be safe and hold tight to your babies. There are street sleepers around.“

“I’m so grateful that these guys were the caterers for a commercial shoot a couple of days ago. Their Life Rice breakfast was so delicious and nutritious, not always the case with healthy, gluten free options. The seared ahi for lunch was perfect! “We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

Definitely worth having them cater your next event/dinner, etc.“
