“With all the commercials, movie sets and tv shows I’ve worked on in the past this company takes the icing off the cake. Hands down the best cater company in the show biz. They’re Always consistent with their food. Very clean, tasty, fresh and huge portions. The crew will always go out of there way if you have an allergy or gluten/vegan diet to make sure you’re well taken care of.
A lot of caters over use the oven when cooking meats. That shouldn’t be in the oven. They bring out a true real grill that gives the meat that taste you get on a Sunday afternoon with the family dinner.
Also check out their craft service they provide. You will not go hungry. They bring out a trailer full of fresh yummy goods. They always do pass outs throughout the day with nothing but the best. Always homemade and not store bought. The real deal they’re.
They owner/employees of the company makes sure each and every crew, actor, actress and background is well taken care of. No one is left out and or treated different.“
“I’m so grateful that these guys were the caterers for a commercial shoot a couple of days ago. Their Life Rice breakfast was so delicious and nutritious, not always the case with healthy, gluten free options. The seared ahi for lunch was perfect! Bonus - all three of the men were very nice and accommodating. Thank you!“

“My family used Distinctive Catering for my aunts memorial and the food was absolutely amazing. The chefs were beyond professional and extremely nice. Trip Tip was cooked beyond perfection, allowing for different preferences of how the meat was cooked. The Luau chicken was hands down the best that I have ever had. Plenty of food options. “I've been meaning to write a review, but have to say I was so impressed by what they did for my baby shower last month. I have a zillion things on my mind right now, as I prep for the baby, but the woman I worked with was super responsive and the whole experience was seamless and beautiful. Super professional and made it easy for me throughout the entire process from ordering, to delivery. The grazing boards were seriously gorgeous and the food was really delightful. I highly recommend and very grateful that they made such a wonderful impact on my day!“

I had the roasted cauliflower and yam salad and it was scrumptious. “Homemade cooking with high quality and variety of dishes I haven’t found in any restaurant. Prices are fair given the quality ingredients and labor intensive preparation of authentic dishes. Worth checking out - best suboreg anywhere, and try their mantee, harrissa and imam bayildi. Everything Fresh and tasty! So convenient for a busy household. Love this place and their kind service.“

“We hired Churro Man for a wedding at Descanso Gardens (as a surprise treat added in by the bride and groom), and he was fantastic! Kind, gracious, and incredibly efficient, he kept the churros coming all night without missing a beat. Everything was made fresh to order. The dipping sauce spread was a huge hit too, caramel, chocolate, strawberry, and condensed milk, all delicious. Such a great addition to the event and honestly a great vendor for any kind of party or celebration.“

From the very beginning, David was kind, professional, patient, responsive, and genuinely an amazing person to work with. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but he made the entire process easy and stress-free. His pricing was also extremely fair, especially for the exceptional quality of food and service he provides.
We had a plated dinner, passed hors d'oeuvres, multiple cocktail hour stations, and a huge dessert station, and every single item was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, with so much attention to detail, and everything tasted just as amazing as it looked. We received countless compliments throughout the night, and even a month later, our guests are still telling us it was some of the best wedding food they've ever had.
If you're looking for someone who is talented, reliable, trustworthy, and truly cares about making your event special, we cannot recommend David highly enough. Thank you for helping make our wedding unforgettable!“

“Fantastic flavors, the vegetables are just steamed, but they crunch under my teeth, the meats are cooked exactly the way I like them. Since I started eating Kitchen To Go food, I have completely calmed down. Every dish is pleasantly seasoned. Finally I can say that American food is not inedible. I am of Hungarian origin, I learned to cook in a French kitchen. Thank you. For the first time, I am satisfied with the food.“
