We had a GREAT experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic, she was knowledgeable about ingredients in food and made sure many people in our party had gluten free dinners. Every dinner, drink and dessert we ordered in our party of 8 was amazing.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
The food was great . The short ribs were absolutely divine. The service was extremely slow which made sense because of the packed restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic, it really feels like you're eating a good home cooked meal. In all Jake's On The Lake was fabulous.

Came here on a Friday night and secured a reservation through Yelp a few hours in advance. We were seated next to the window, which offered a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. We started with the fried ahi poke roll, which was more like a spring roll. I thought the fish would be raw, as poke usually is, but I can understand that since the roll is fried...it would make more sense for it to be cooked.
