Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.“

“I was in town traveling for work and stopped into Bacari Sherman Oaks for dinner. As a party of one, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, where I ended up having an excellent experience. I struck up a conversation with the bartender, Skyler, who was not only super friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the entire menu.

Since it was my first time there, I asked Skyler to choose the dishes for me and he absolutely nailed it. Every plate was on point.

The woman helping us could not have been more helpful, patient, and kind. I do sometimes look a bit Armenian which leads people to assume I can speak Armenian or Russian which is always a good laugh. She made excellent suggestions and gave us a very accurate timeframe of how long it would take to prepare. Since then we have ordered via UberEats 2x more and each time things were EXPERTLY packaged - literally the nicest to-go bag and perfectly portioned condiments. We were blown away. The food itself is so flavorful and the ingredients are high quality and you can tell they take pride in what they do.“

“Me and my friends went to Calabra for sunset and had the best experience. Our server, Danil, was amazing. He went above and beyond, especially when one of us asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and we loved the seafood tower. Overall, the service from the entire staff was excellent. Other servers checked in on us, cleared plates promptly, and brought the bill without delay. “The staff here is really kind. They work very hard and are super nice. The owner needs to compensate them better and more fairly or hire more people to help them because it seems they are always busy and stretched thin but still do their very, very best.

As far as the food, it is very overpriced. You don't seem to receive your money's worth but it is still fresh and not too bad in the taste department.

The atmosphere feels tiny but is quite cozy as a result.

Overall, I would return but maybe not frequently. The people working here are the best part of the experience and they deserve better pay and more help.“

“The cashier was rude , I asked her if they sold carne asada fries. She pointed to the menu. I said it only says nachos. She replied " no" our Antonio's nachos are fries. How would I know that!
