“Came on a Saturday after dinner time and it was not too crowded when we got there, managed to snag a table easily. However, by the time we left, it was definitely getting crowded and people were standing around waiting for a table.
The signature combo is my go to with the soft grass jelly and chewy taro balls. The desserts here are not too sweet - so if you have a really sweet tooth, this is probably not the place for you. That said, the sweetness level here is just perfect for my asian palate.“

“Excellent shaved Ice. This is the only shaved ice that I've ever eaten that actually tastes like Ice cream. It's incredibly delicious and worth the visit. I recommend their mango melon. It's perfection. Strawberry one is great too if you like Strawberries. It is a small place and finding a place to sit inside will be challenging and uncomfortable if you get claustrophobic in a small busy space. I suggest take out. Also, parking is an issue but that's pretty much Pasadena for you. Otherwise, I strongly recommend it.“

“Wow, this place is very good, their snacks or snacks are very delicious and the lady who serves is very kind and friendly. That should be all the owners or staff who serve. Wow, I was surprised. There is a lot of parking. There is also water in large bottles of Mexican sweets of all kinds.“

“Cali’s Just Chill is such a hidden gem! We stopped by for their Hawaiian shaved ice, and it was absolutely delicious. We added a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream and sweetened condensed milk, which took it to another level. The shaved ice is refreshing, flavorful, and perfect when you’re craving something sweet.
They have a huge variety of flavors, so there’s something for everyone, plus plenty of other food and treat options if shaved ice isn’t what you’re in the mood for.
What really makes this place special is the service. It’s always amazing, and the owner is incredibly sweet, welcoming, and always has a smile on his face. You can tell he genuinely cares about her customers and the experience they have.
There’s also plenty of parking, which makes stopping by easy and convenient.
If you haven’t tried Cali’s Just Chill yet, definitely give them a visit! Get the Hawaiian shaved ice with vanilla ice cream and condensed milk you won’t regret it. 🍧🌺“

“Xinbale is a fast-food restaurant serving authentic Taiwanese cuisine. It offers a wide variety of snacks; generally speaking, the flavors tend to be on the sweeter side. If you are not fond of sweet tastes, be sure to avoid ordering the Stir-fried Tomatoes with Eggs. Even on weekdays, the restaurant is bustling with diners. They also offer an extensive selection of beverages, and you can enjoy a dessert after your meal.“

“The restaurant on the third floor that used to have mariachi shows is boarded up and closed. They been closed since the Covid shutdown. Everything else is open. There is still plenty of food and small booths selling leather goods, makeup, piñatas, traditional Mexican dresses and shirts, and lots more.“

“I didn’t have high hope because most shaved ice places don’t have the right texture but this place had both texture and flavor. Soft pillowy snowy shaved ice with refreshing fruit flavors like guava and passion fruit and rich deep flavors that included Thai tea and pandan. Adding this to my must go to list. Reasonably priced too, which is rare these days. 5+ stars!!“

“Stopped by Sobok Sobok for an afternoon snack and can see why it’s been around for so many years.
The coffee buns were fresh and soft with a light coffee aroma. I tried the assorted box and enjoyed how each flavor had its own character without being overly sweet. The cinnamon and yogurt white chocolate were my favorites.
The croffle was crispy on the outside, buttery inside, and paired really well with the pineapple ice cream.
I also ordered the Hibiscus Peach Tea. The peach tasted homemade rather than syrupy, and the tart hibiscus balanced the sweetness nicely. Refreshing and not too sugary.
The shop has a warm neighborhood feel, and the smell of freshly baked bread hits you as soon as you walk in. Definitely a great spot for a coffee break or to pick up pastries to take home.“

“This place is not called el Piquin Mexican Grill anymore. it’s called Taqueria La Fogata and since they have changed owners. the food has been so much better and more delicious than ever before. everything on the menu is great especially their chicken that they specialize in. every type of food from breakfast lunch and dinner. They never disappoint and always great outdoor seating and staff is wonderful. ????“

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been back here with my family but Their raspados & tostilocos are AMAZING! I recommend their chimitorro, tamarind or really just any of their raspados! Love how fresh they taste and they don’t taste like fake/artificial syrups. They take pride in their fresh ingredients and I support it!“
“Very friendly staff. I ordered the fried squid. It was huge. She even said it was biggest she ever seen. For $15 it's a bargain. It's made to order. Once you bite into it, you are transported to Taiwan night market!!

“To all Filipinos and Filipino food fans out there! Do not be deceived with the name! This is not your ordinary bobba shop! Tim's Thai Tea/Mags Matamis serves the best halo-halo in SoCal! This will be my go to place from now on whenever I crave for halo-halo.

“It’s not too often that I stop at a Michoacana store, but this location somehow always manages to serve everything with a positive and enthusiastic attitude everytime I stop by to buy something! Most stores usually have little to not much variety, but this location always has something in store for everyone! It has flavors for ice cream that other locations don’t seem to have. They always try to introduce something new and refreshing that anyone can and will enjoy! Whenever I have entered this store, they always have fresh corn for an esquite or fresh fruit for hot summer days. If you’re looking for something fresh and tasty to eat, while being served by enthusiastic employees, I HIGHLY recommend visiting this store! It’s a must!!“

“Excellent customer service has a variety of options to be honest I was skeptical at first but once I came in I realized it was super clean and they were really nice to me and they have options that a lot of stores around here don't have for example I was looking for one of those fruit stand guys and I didn't find any today because the last time I went to one this guy had no mask I don't think he washed his hands it looks really non-hygienic and it was kind of expensive here it was cheaper than that guy and they were very hygienic and it was such a nice story to come to I would recommend it to everybody around here“

“This sketchy-looking hole-in-the-wall serves the best 生煎 (fried bao) in all of greater LA. The sanitation situation is visibly terrifying. But honestly, I’d risk mild food poisoning once in a while for that crispy bottom and juicy bite. So many authentic Shanghainese restaurants serves pathetic prefab version生煎 nowadays.“
