One of the highlights I’d recommend is the Hawaiian Salmon Mix—it’s truly unbeatable. The salmon was incredibly fresh and paired so well with the mix of flavors. Honestly, this is some of the best poke I’ve had in a very long time, and I’ve tried quite a few places in the area.

“We randomly came across Lazy Dog Restaurant driving through Thousand Oaks on our way to Big Bear on the 4th of July weekend. We wanted to get some real food and a beer.

We parked in the parking lot across the street which had a fair amount of available parking.

We were able to get a seat right away. Service was quick and friendly. The menus are cool (leather wrapped). Tons of good food options. Good size meal. Pricing is very fair for the portion and quality.

We wanted to try a new beer and tried the Huckleberry Haze IPA and it was amazing. We ever got a 4 pack to go (yes they even sell it canned)! This beer was SO good that we HAD to stop back while driving home from Joshua Tree for lunch and of course, more of the Huckleberry beer. They also have a lunch special, a half sandwich, and a salad and other side like fries for around $12.”

But the highlight was absolutely our waiter, Marcus (If that’s how you spell it). He was incredibly attentive, very accommodating, And had a smile on his face the whole night. My wife is a waitress (And a damn good one) so we really pay attention to service. Give that man a raise!”

Every meat I tasted (my husband got carnitas, pastor, and carne asada) was super fresh, seasoned perfectly, tender, chips were fresh, fresh lemons, not limes (another sign of authenticity imo, iykyk).

The salsas had authentic spice levels, everything.

10/10 for a solid taquero joint. Forget EPL or any other fast food place.

Uno de los productos fue una jaiba imitación, la pedimos en la carnicería y no la dieron en una bolsa, al llegar a casa nos dimos cuenta que estaba echada a perder, no pensamos que fuera un problema, nunca nos había pasado y este producto no es de su tienda solo lo revenden. “Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. “This was a recent discovery, look for it. Great boba, try anything with Tiger in front, these are my faves, like the tiger milk tea or frosty. The ladies working the register are so nice. Always ready to chat when its not busy, they work very well as a team getting your beverage to you. I always tip here :) they deserve it.”
