“Amazing food! I haven’t had a good meal like that in a while! I recently checked out some of the well rated restaurants in LA, such as RVR and I have to say this is hands down superior. The food, the vibe, and the server was also very attentive and friendly. The portions are very small and I felt like for the price, they could be a little larger.
Highly recommend and will go again!

“During our recent New Year 2023 trip to Los Angeles, Sylmar area, Marlena and I discovered Tainos L. A. delicious, savoring, finger licking, mouthwatering, authentic, original, traditional, gourmet Abuelita's Puerto Rican food. The charming owner was very welcoming and sincerely appreciated and enhanced our dinning experience. We definetly recommend Tainos L. A. Marlena was happy eating PR Pasteles ( PR Tamales). Taino L. A. is a ghost kitchen, takeout or delivery only. We didn't know what a ghost kitchen is. Even though, it is a ghost kitchen, the gracious owner improvised and allowed us to eat in the kitchen storage area. She even played Salsa music. Marlena and I danced while waiting for the delicious Tostones with garlic and oil dressing. Tostones were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft and tender in the inside, just like Abuelitas make them, Yummy!“

“A great restaurant to enjoy in Van Nuys. I went there for the pupusas and plantains. Pupusas are a regional meal which consists of two small corn tortillas stuffed with either pork, beef, chicken, or beans and cheese. It is served with a spicy salsa and peppers. The plantains are large, sweet bananas from South America. They are usually fried and served with Mexican sour cream. This restaurant also has an authentic bakery on site also. Great food and friendly service. 👓

“I had the chilequiles. Hard to mess those up honestly.
The baleades were amazing though and I highly suggest them.
My son also got the whole fish and ate almost the whole thing.
Parking: Parking is in a small lot on the back side of the restaurant“

“Heel gezellig restaurant met lieve en attente eigenaar! Ze wil alles voor je doen om het je naar de zin te maken. Hou je niet van bonen in je taco, dan laat ze die eruit. Alles is vers en zelfgemaakt. En dat proef je! Zeker een aanrader na een lekkere dag aan t strand.
