“Many good places are sometimes in weird locations that are often overseen and unnoticed. El Chocherita is one them, food has so much flavor, portion is awesome and their service is on point. I had a "Leche de Tigre" which often times is hard to come across a restaurants that prepares it well. I also had an "Arroz Chaufa de pollo y Carne, with no onions" which delivered a very tasteful bite as I finished it off with some Chicha! My co worker had a Lomo Saltado and was smiling from ear to ear as he ate his meal! Overall very satisfied with their food and service, definitely a place to try. Inside the Valley Indoor Swap Meet, on the second floor, up the escalator to the right!“

“Omg when I tell you that it was my first time trying arepas. My brother Inlaw is from Venezuela boy he Wasent wrong when he told me trust your gonna love them!! Never had I finish a whole dinner plate on my own.. But I myself was surprised when I ate the whole arepa I left nothing. “This place is a hidden gem in the valley and even the lot it's in you wouldn't assume it's good. This is located in the same lot as the Food 4 Less and Baskin Robbins. And I am so mad I didn't get this place sooner, the savory empanadas I had were DELICIOUS. I had the corn, pork kahula and a chicken one that I forgot that all came with their individual sauces and I WILL be going back for more. I was however so disappointed in the banana Nutella empanada- it was very mushy and the Nutella taste was nonexistent. Either than that the actual place is super clean and a cool ambiance to it!“

“I have been a face painter at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch throughout the month of October, and almost every day I’ve been there, I got lunch from the Maravilla truck. They are incredible!! Everything I tried was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a personal favorite. They are all so friendly too. Face painting at the patch is definitely a high pressure job, especially when it’s busy, and Maravilla really helped to keep my spirits (and energy) up the whole time! Thank you Maravilla for everything!!“

“Solid drinks, super service and good tacos! Not a lot of veggie options, but they do have some. Stopped in for the weekend brunch which includes bottomless mimosas and was disappointed in the buffet style lack of vegano options considering what they have on their weekly menu. I will say that what they do have is very flavorful and it's an enjoyable experience... Just not one I'm racing to get back to after my third trip in. Music get loud as can be by early afternoon so conversations with friends or family get really challenging.Parking is in a shared structure in back with neighboring business and usually no more than $5 if you go over the complimentary (2hr mark).“

If you want a mountain of bacon, go to Lucky Boy in Pasadena. I will be at Antojitos where the balance is perfect! Great green salsa too!The Cafe de Olla is great! We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. “I have come to their new spacious location and loved it.Prices are great, service is good too. I have bought their yucca, chiles rellenos, tamales, empanadas, pupusas, and pastelitos in bulk for a birthday party. It was the best. I have gone back at least 4 times, and I have always been ver pleased with the food, service and prices. I highly recommend it.“
“Got bean and cheese pupusas and they are some of the best I have tried-- and I have tried a lot; even ones from El Salvador itself. And the price wasn't too bad at 2.50 a pupusa The girl helping us out was super sweet and patient. I will def be back to this little hole in the wall!“
“Downtown Long Beach has a farmers market every Friday and this is one of the tents i never miss stopping by. I've had a fair share of tamales throughout the years and I have to say, these are by far one of my favorites! Let's say, ones where i don't get a massive heartburn or overly guilty yet hits the spot is good enough for me. Best part is their delicious salsa!! Im a whimp for spicy stuff which i know, i know.... im probably not the best to make an opinion for anything spicy but i will definitely try ans tough it out to taste test their flavors. Haven't tried the spicy salsa yet but their mild one is one of the best. Weird to say, i like them so much i can almost drink it. My favourite flavors of tamales so far are their chicken and chilli/cheese!! Their beef aren't bad and has more of a kick if you like a little spice. Their chicken and cheese ones aren't spicy for the whimpy spice eaters like me. Ive also tried their sweet corn one and this I have to say lacked a little bit. Customer service is awesome! Their is usually and older man there and sometimes he has subs but they are all very nice, quick workers! Compared to other tents, this one gets a line. So that tells you something. “Deliciousness, tried their yucca con chicharron. Although fried it was not greasy. The yucca was perfectly golden brown. Also had their platanos with beans and cream. Last but not least had a bowl of their atol de elote. Wow-just like my grandmother used to make it. Everything was so good. Pupusas are delicious too.“

Even though we had to wait for our table (we had a rez), we spent time talking out on their sidewalk patio. Once seated, I explained the background of traditional PR dishes (being puertoriqueño myself) and made recommendations for appetizers and main course. They were blown away by the flavors and variety! Having grown up in PR and ar, the authenticity of spices, recipes and menu items is why I love this small place!“
“Excellent, delicious, and authentic Chapin food. This is the closest it gets to eating at your native precious country. The place is impecable clean, with smiles and greetings as you walk in. The place is rather small (but that's when you know that you're in for a treat). The flavor, at least of the churrasco plate, or the pipian plate, according to my mother, were exceptionally good. Right on point, the service is also right on. The parking is a little small bur there's a Home Depot across the street with plenty of extra parking, begging to be used. There's soft music playing, but it's at such a perfect volume that it doesn't make you raise your voice, and you can hear the conversation without struggle. They're very courteous, polite, with a smile and the greatest of attitudes. If you're curious about Guatemalan authentic flavor I highly recommend you try out this small place that pack a punch of good flavor. Did I mention the tortillas (soft corn shell)are made by hand and the Aguas frescas without a ton of sugar or additives. I had a pineapple water, and my mother an Horchata, very very good indeed. I can't speak of the bathrooms because I didn't use them. Plus they also have merchandise for sale, that are also the real deal.“

“This hidden little gem on Panorama city has one of the best sandwiches in the entire valley. I'm glad I found it. When you go in do yourself a favor and ask for a "Steak torta with everything on it". I've tried a few dishes from there but every little thing was on point. The gordita with nopales is also a must try if you are running a veggie diet. 10/10 would take the president to eat there.“
