“Many good places are sometimes in weird locations that are often overseen and unnoticed. El Chocherita is one them, food has so much flavor, portion is awesome and their service is on point. I had a "Leche de Tigre" which often times is hard to come across a restaurants that prepares it well. I also had an "Arroz Chaufa de pollo y Carne, with no onions" which delivered a very tasteful bite as I finished it off with some Chicha! My co worker had a Lomo Saltado and was smiling from ear to ear as he ate his meal! Overall very satisfied with their food and service, definitely a place to try. Inside the Valley Indoor Swap Meet, on the second floor, up the escalator to the right!“
“Hello I love the experience I was traveling and stopped by here I was greeted with a flyer it felt very welcoming I loved it , food smells great , The server was so nice and very well informative on the ingredients , It reminds me of home and taste just like home ? BEST Cuban Food in the 818 !!Kid-friendliness: Very friendlyParking: Lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: It’s flat no need for ramps and wide open door“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants, all the food is very fresh, they serve it very quickly, my family loves visiting this free-range chicken in Panorama City, the staff is very friendly and congratulations ? to all the staff, everything with great excellence.“
“Super tasty food, delicious snacks. Everything done at the moment!! And the unique attention. Very friendly and attentive. First time and I was impressed. I recommend it, I will return every time I go from San Francisco to San Fernando Los Angeles. God Bless the workers, owner and Restaurant and prosper them!!!“
“Omg when I tell you that it was my first time trying arepas. My brother Inlaw is from Venezuela boy he Wasent wrong when he told me trust your gonna love them!! Never had I finish a whole dinner plate on my own.. But I myself was surprised when I ate the whole arepa I left nothing. It was so good I can’t explain yah need to come try them so you know what I’m talking about.. Only bad thing is there not open every day. You guys try the carne mechada arepa oh my God delicious.. I’m Hispanic by the way and let me tell you I rather have one of these than a Sope, taco, popusas,or a huarache tbh… Guys go try the food here please . You won’t regret it..“
“A lovely little spot. The food here is amazing and caters to a wide variety of tastes and diets. Our server was a wonderfully charismatic individual. The outside city streets melt away in the atmosphere. Will be recommending to friends looking for a nice, chill evening out with company.“
“This place is a hidden gem in the valley and even the lot it's in you wouldn't assume it's good. This is located in the same lot as the Food 4 Less and Baskin Robbins. And I am so mad I didn't get this place sooner, the savory empanadas I had were DELICIOUS. I had the corn, pork kahula and a chicken one that I forgot that all came with their individual sauces and I WILL be going back for more. I was however so disappointed in the banana Nutella empanada- it was very mushy and the Nutella taste was nonexistent. Either than that the actual place is super clean and a cool ambiance to it!“
“Wow, the meat of my steak was not only soft but also very delicious, even though it was seasoned, the flavor was exact, the freshness and juiciness was exact, we turned the beans over if they were missing a little, the good Russian salad was very delicious and fresh, to have a pineapple vevida tiki ? (soda)“
“I have been a face painter at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch throughout the month of October, and almost every day I’ve been there, I got lunch from the Maravilla truck. They are incredible!! Everything I tried was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a personal favorite. They are all so friendly too. Face painting at the patch is definitely a high pressure job, especially when it’s busy, and Maravilla really helped to keep my spirits (and energy) up the whole time! Thank you Maravilla for everything!!“
“Didn't take any pictures, but there's so much variety with this place! Next time I'm coming back, I'm definitely getting their $27 box of 6! Oh, and their dessert Nutella + Banana Empanada was really good! Sorry! No pics!“
“Holy cow... The food. Amazing. Wonderful. Delightful. Simple, quality ingredients cooked with love. Best restaurant food I've had in years. Every bite was perfect.Service. Beyond par. Attentive but not too much. Friendly and polite. Perfect.Atmosphere is a cool-cat hang with Dizzy Gillespie at a recording session. Awesome.“
“Solid drinks, super service and good tacos! Not a lot of veggie options, but they do have some. Stopped in for the weekend brunch which includes bottomless mimosas and was disappointed in the buffet style lack of vegano options considering what they have on their weekly menu. I will say that what they do have is very flavorful and it's an enjoyable experience... Just not one I'm racing to get back to after my third trip in. Music get loud as can be by early afternoon so conversations with friends or family get really challenging.Parking is in a shared structure in back with neighboring business and usually no more than $5 if you go over the complimentary (2hr mark).“
“My family and I had the best breakfast/lunch!!! We had a craving for something that tasted like home and we found it!!! I had the breakfast with friend chicken and I loved it!!!! We also ordered the fried fish and their delicious Baliadas!!!! I would definitely recommend ?Parking: Parking is in the back of the restaurant.“
“Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I'm a California native & a connoisseur of breakfast burritos. The "Antojito" has refried black beans & the lightest crispy hash browns! If you want a mountain of bacon, go to Lucky Boy in Pasadena. I will be at Antojitos where the balance is perfect! Great green salsa too!The Cafe de Olla is great! That's coffee brewed with extras like cinnamon, orange, & pilloncillo (brown sugar cane). Delicious“
“You guys are awsome. Stela and the cashier were awesome tonight. We came in almost at close and they were super nice and even cooked fresh food for us. We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. Had the best smile and ready to make the food even if it was time for them to almost go home.“
“I have come to their new spacious location and loved it.Prices are great, service is good too. I have bought their yucca, chiles rellenos, tamales, empanadas, pupusas, and pastelitos in bulk for a birthday party. It was the best. I have gone back at least 4 times, and I have always been ver pleased with the food, service and prices. I highly recommend it.“
“Got bean and cheese pupusas and they are some of the best I have tried-- and I have tried a lot; even ones from El Salvador itself. And the price wasn't too bad at 2.50 a pupusa The girl helping us out was super sweet and patient. I will def be back to this little hole in the wall!“
“Downtown Long Beach has a farmers market every Friday and this is one of the tents i never miss stopping by. I've had a fair share of tamales throughout the years and I have to say, these are by far one of my favorites! Let's say, ones where i don't get a massive heartburn or overly guilty yet hits the spot is good enough for me. Best part is their delicious salsa!! Im a whimp for spicy stuff which i know, i know.... im probably not the best to make an opinion for anything spicy but i will definitely try ans tough it out to taste test their flavors. Haven't tried the spicy salsa yet but their mild one is one of the best. Weird to say, i like them so much i can almost drink it. My favourite flavors of tamales so far are their chicken and chilli/cheese!! Their beef aren't bad and has more of a kick if you like a little spice. Their chicken and cheese ones aren't spicy for the whimpy spice eaters like me. Ive also tried their sweet corn one and this I have to say lacked a little bit. Customer service is awesome! Their is usually and older man there and sometimes he has subs but they are all very nice, quick workers! Compared to other tents, this one gets a line. So that tells you something. Cons, if any is: - Cash only - a bit costly $3.50/ea, compared to others I've had“
“This place is killer!!!! ALL the food was delicious. Service was outstanding!!! I wish I lived closer. The chicken is as good as I have ever had. Tried a little bit of everything and it was all GOOD!!!!! Hope to come back for the baby back ribs.“
“It's a little place but it's the best most authentic peruvian roasted chicken you'll find in LA.Great price good portionsLove the salad dressing. Need the recipe! It smells like peru when you walk through the door. With the wood they use to roast the chicken.“
“I really like this spot for "to-go" mexican food. I've been coming here for years and seeing the same faces. This is a solid spot where the service is always friendly and the food is delicious. I enjoy their chicken salad, camarones, and tacos. The salsa and chips here are soo good. Thank you! ❤️“
“Food is good, it has that authentic Guatemalan taste. Being born and raised in Guatemala it's nice to have a place where you can revisit those memories when your abuelita used to cook some traditional Guatemalan cuisine on Sundays. Been here a few times over the years and things have slowly change but the taste remains.“
“This placed is praised for their quality tamales. The best in the whole of the San Fernando valley. Freshly made tamales daily packed with meat and flavors. They take orders over the phone and sell uncooked frozen ones for those that want to steam cook them fresh at home like my family did with 2 dozen tamales on Christmas. Been a customer for more than 8 years.“
“(Translated by Google) The best attention that I have received has been in this place I recommend it to the fullest and the owner of another planet is super attentive, handsome server and above all Latino ????????????(Original)La mejor atención qe he recibo ha sido en este lugar se los recomiendo al máximo y el dueño de otro planeta súper atento guapo servidor y sobre todo latino ????????????“
“Deliciousness, tried their yucca con chicharron. Although fried it was not greasy. The yucca was perfectly golden brown. Also had their platanos with beans and cream. Last but not least had a bowl of their atol de elote. Wow-just like my grandmother used to make it. Everything was so good. Pupusas are delicious too.“
“Having eaten there many years ago, I took a couple of friends for a special b'day dinner...boriqua style! Even though we had to wait for our table (we had a rez), we spent time talking out on their sidewalk patio. Once seated, I explained the background of traditional PR dishes (being puertoriqueño myself) and made recommendations for appetizers and main course. They were blown away by the flavors and variety! Having grown up in PR and ar, the authenticity of spices, recipes and menu items is why I love this small place!“
“Excellent, delicious, and authentic Chapin food. This is the closest it gets to eating at your native precious country. The place is impecable clean, with smiles and greetings as you walk in. The place is rather small (but that's when you know that you're in for a treat). The flavor, at least of the churrasco plate, or the pipian plate, according to my mother, were exceptionally good. Right on point, the service is also right on. The parking is a little small bur there's a Home Depot across the street with plenty of extra parking, begging to be used. There's soft music playing, but it's at such a perfect volume that it doesn't make you raise your voice, and you can hear the conversation without struggle. They're very courteous, polite, with a smile and the greatest of attitudes. If you're curious about Guatemalan authentic flavor I highly recommend you try out this small place that pack a punch of good flavor. Did I mention the tortillas (soft corn shell)are made by hand and the Aguas frescas without a ton of sugar or additives. I had a pineapple water, and my mother an Horchata, very very good indeed. I can't speak of the bathrooms because I didn't use them. Plus they also have merchandise for sale, that are also the real deal.“
“I love these people and their authentic Oaxacan cuisine. Their grilled chicken burrito, California Burrito and their kids bean and cheese burrito are a staple in our home. Our kids beg for it weekly! Our fave strip mall Mexican.Kid-friendliness: Amazing kid options! My kids are obsessed.“
“My friend and I wandered in here for lunch, and it was delightful and a wonderful surprise! The gentleman who greeted us was so kind and so warm, and he made us feel so at home and welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. We had empanadas, and the half chicken combo. Everything was delicious, especially the chicken. The chicken is bomb! Definitely worth a visit!“
“(Translated by Google) Good food. Too bad the place is very noisy from the buses since to eat there it is a bit uncomfortable to be able to chat(Original)Buena comida lástima el lugar muy ruidoso de los autobuses ya que para comer ahí es un poco incómodo poder charlar“
“Delicious food made with love and care the quality can be tasted and is full of flavor the chefs are professionals and every item here is delicious and not disappointing nice people just trying to serve good Peruvian food I'll be sure to come “
“This hidden little gem on Panorama city has one of the best sandwiches in the entire valley. I'm glad I found it. When you go in do yourself a favor and ask for a "Steak torta with everything on it". I've tried a few dishes from there but every little thing was on point. The gordita with nopales is also a must try if you are running a veggie diet. 10/10 would take the president to eat there.“
