Ali'i offers reliable, no frills poke bowls. The fish itself is fresh and tasty. Just poke and rice alone was pretty steep in price, so I chose to forego the additional toppings costing more than a dollar. The interior is small with no seating, so it's a grab and go type deal.
Was in the area and saw this place while driving to another destination. Decided to give this place a try. Did the Spicy, Hawaiian and Yuzu Salmon. The flavors were mostly good. The Spicy was a tad salty. Did I taste miso in it? I did not care for the texture of the salmon. Citrus typically cooks the protein so while the flavor was good I didn't like the texture of the salmon. I would say the quality and texture of the tuna is good for being a previously frozen product. So so so so yummy! Proper Hawaiian poke for real guys. Fish is so fresh and delicious and the portions are generous. Even the sides are great!Please give it a shot if you love poke.
