“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.“

That’s what I wanted to say when I discovered the place..Eureka! …From the outside, you’d never guess this place existed. But once I stepped through the front door, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was captivating, and, believe it or not, they backed it up with great food.

Our server, Carissa, was perfect through our Labor Day lunch!, so I tipped her generously—she earned it.

I kicked off the feast with a Mexican beer called Explorado Lager. I lost count of how many I had, but it was something special—fruity, as my date noted, and I have to agree. It was different, in the best way!

We shared a plate of slow-roasted pork nachos and a plate of wings, they were definitely worth it.
I wrapped things up with the Napa chicken sandwich, which was spot on—the sauce was a perfect hit. Honestly, it felt like I was dining in a four-star restaurant. These folks really know their sauces.

When I first went inside, the atmosphere looked like a Tiki Lounge with bamboo and island decor. It was pretty cool. The host (I didn’t catch her name) helped me with my pick-up order quickly snd friendly.

I’d say the salsa was really good with the chips and the guacamole had a nice taste to it that wasn’t too overbearing for me. (Im still new to the ‘guac game’ and am slowly acquiring its taste) so this was a great treat for me.

I’d definitely try Island Restaurants’ entrees and desserts in a sit-down setting the next time around.“

Now here’s the crazy additional observation: this restaurant is ridiculously clean for its age. The floor and seating area was noticeably clean, and the restrooms were exceptionally clean as well. The restaurant is obviously well managed. I got there early on a Saturday at 11 to beat the crowd, and by the time I left, the restaurant was full of people. I will unquestionably be back for more.“

The service was amazing by the staff. I ordered the family box and it was around $50 for 10 tenders and 2 sides which is a crazy deal. I honestly never leave reviews but this place deserved it.“

“My now husband and I have done so much research in trying to find the perfect wedding venue for our wedding this past October. I was set on another venue prior but I am so happy my husband changed my mind! He found this venue off searching on Google and we made an appointment to meet up with the manager of the venue, Raul. I don't know about you all, but I have never met someone who is so happy and eager ALL OF THE TIME. Keep in mind, we booked our venue about 1-2 years before our wedding date, so we've always kept in touch with Raul (whether it be texting or through email). Raul is one of the most delightful people to be around. He is ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS positive no matter what. I also appreciated all the happy faces he responds to us with through email and text. He made the whole process extremely easy and was very accessible whenever we had any questions (and trust me, I had A LOT). There were a few occasions where I wanted to show up to see the venue with my family, and he didn't give us any trouble, even if he was busy! At this time, I truly could not imagine having our wedding with any other venue. Being the bride already comes with lots and lots of stress; but I honestly felt Raul and his team showed up and helped so much that I was not running around with my head cut off. All I did was show up to our wedding and everything was taken care of, and I didn't even have a wedding planner! This venue provided a day of coordinator for us, Madison, and let me just say, she is an amazing coordinator! She helped us with the food tasting before the wedding and also was there for us until the end of the wedding! She didn't have to stay with us but decided to, just to help make our day even more special. My husband and I also had so much fun with Madison during our photoshoot after the ceremony :) I couldn't have done it without this amazing team! I mean look at our photos! I've had guests tell us they haven't been to a wedding this beautiful. It makes me so happy to relive my wedding looking through the beautiful photos/ videos. I cannot say thank you enough for everything they have done for us. My experience was even better than I could ever hope for, and that's thanks to this wonderful, hardworking team here at Eagle Glen! This will not be the last you see of us! (My husband loves golf and will be coming here more frequently!) We are going to miss working with you, you all felt like family to us!
