4 Best Sushi Bars in Truckee

“Sushi of the hidden cloud is impressive. Who would’ve thought that there such quality sushi up here in Truckee. All the raws are fresh and beautifully made.

What’s weird is that they take reservations and the workers are surprisingly uptight about it. We were there at open and 2 tables were reserved for a party that’s gonna be there in 40 min. It was shaded, and it’s hot and sunny. So we figured we ordered and we’ll be done before these folks even show up, but we were told to move and can’t sit there by the server. Rather unreasonable, and with limited outdoor only seating, it doesn’t make much business sense to take reservations. I think more money can be made if it’s just first come first serve first serve. And I think owner can be a bit more lax on the seating protocol“

“I had a chance to try this place and was impressed. the owner is very nice and took some time to explain how his billing works. I had a large bowl which was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh and the bowl tasted great. I plan to go back next time I'm in town.“
