“I definitely like it here and will return for sure however there are notes based on the two times I've tried the food here:The little fried cakey desserts they have up on the front are very good. Love those.Their sandwiches are one of the better ones I've had from cafés on foothill. They come in soft sandwich baguettes and they're a bit toasted.First time I got:Persian Makhloot Pizza 8/10Hot dog 10/10Cheesy chips 9/10FriesTotalling $66Second time I got:Persian Makhloot 7/10Beef shawarma sandwich 9/10House salad 8/10FriesAnd a SpriteTotalling $63So their pizza is DELICIOUS but I believe they still haven't figured out their oven's temperature because last time the pizza and cheesy chips were overcooked (dried brown mozzarella) and second time I asked them to not let it crisp to that point and they were kind enough to do that but then the center of the crust ended up being uncooked and the bottom of it was stuck to the paper underneath so we ended up having to peel paper pieces from the slices before eating them which was alright but not fun.I have half of it left over so ill warm it up and hopefully it'll fully cook.Fries were unsalted/unseasoned. Had to add that myself.The salad was pretty fresh and a good portion. I could not finish it all in one setting. It did lack flavor and the dressing is just Thousand Island. I added things to it and it turned out amazing. I think something as simple as adding parsley or sprinkling dried oregano on it will go a long wayI really hope they figure out the pizza situation because 1- it's not cheap food so for the price it should be cooked properly and 2- it very much has potential to be perfect.“

“This place is a mom and pop restaurant, and the owner is a wonderful charming man who makes the best sandwiches. The food is clean and very delicious. The fries and fry dip, cheeseburger, mushroom cheeseburger, the olivier salad, and homemade pomegranate juice are must haves. In this age of low quality fast food, these places are rare gems. The food takes time to prepare, but quality takes time.“

“We decided to give them a try and were absolutely delighted by their service and quality of food. They took our order just before their closing and we picked up the order in 25 minutes. We ordered chicken koobideh, chicken thigh, and beef koobideh wraps (fries on the side) and they all were extremely delicious with generous portions. They also have ready to go food and their cucumber yogurt and olivieh salad were very good and tasty. We'll be back for sure. Thank you to the team at Aiden's. “First time coming here and the food was fantastic. I honestly can’t wait to try their other offerings. Located on the east side of Glendale Ave, just north of the freeway. Small parking lot, but street parking is also available. Outdoor seating is also available. The lamb shank was calling to me and I absolutely enjoyed every bite. Substituted for a different rice as well.“

My personal favorite is the beef kubideh—it’s a masterpiece. The meat is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection every single time. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Whether it’s the tender, flavorful kebabs, the fluffy and fragrant rice, the freshly baked noon (bread), or the perfectly grilled veggies, every bite is a testament to the skill and passion that goes into the cooking.

This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant. Kaban Persian Cuisine sets the gold standard for Persian food. If you’re looking for a place that offers outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and the most delicious Persian cuisine you’ll ever taste, this is it. I cannot recommend it enough. “Holy Moly! Really good charcoal-fired kebabs at a really good value. This Mom and Pop place is clean, welcoming and offers high-quality food. The steak kebab was amazingly tender and flavorful and the Spicy Chicken breast and regular Chicken breast kebabs were equally delicious. We ordered the platter which includes perfectly prepared rice, creamy hummus, lavash bread, and a large green bbq’d pepper and tomato. The kebabs and vegetables are cooked over a charcoal fire, which adds to the wonderful flavor. The owners are personal and friendly and have pride in their business. The restaurant is located in a small center and not visible from the road. There are a few tables, but it is primarily take-out orders. I will definitely be back to try the Lula kebabs and the red bean salad.

“My aunt, daughter, and I popped into this place for lunch on our way home. The food was delicious with a good portion size. My daughter and I shared the chicken and beef combo plate and still had quite a bit to take home with us. Food has really good flavor and the owner was so nice. I’m definitely saving this place for the next time I’m driving through the area.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “Nice place to enjoy well made food. The owner was super friendly and let us try a number of different appetizers on the house. We tried the beef and chicken lulah platters and they were nice. Would return again to try more of the menu. The plaza had plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable.“

“Dear Nerses vanak, I don't want to give a bad rating. Maybe it was a one-time fluke. So let me explain, I have been ordering the koodideh for two years, It was great, especially the taftan bread. The last time I ordered it, the kebab had shrunk, and the meat wasn't the same quality. The taftan was smaller and doughy around the corner, and the middle was paper thin. I know the cost of doing business has gone up last few years, but to compensate for it by sending out a meal like that will only cost lost business.“

“Everything was FRESH and FRESHLY- MADE, TASTY, and DELICIOUS at Sherman Oaks Kabob Village. Even the pita bread is made fresh from scratch. Nothing is pre-cooked, processed, or from packages. It was a bit of a wait (20 minutes), but it's worth having everything cooked while you are there. The spiced tea is freshly-brewed and wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice meal in such a small strip mall restaurant. It was my first time there but I am sure I will be back soon to try other dishes.
