“The sweetest most kind hearted people here. Definitely recommend for some yummy authentic Persian pizza! The food was great but what made it even better was the people who served and took care of us. If we weren’t from out of town, we would be regulars here for sure. Please come give them a visit and try their delicious and comforting food! They don’t just have pizza! Sandwiches and other yummy cuisines from Iran are included in the menu here too. “We decided to give them a try and were absolutely delighted by their service and quality of food. They took our order just before their closing and we picked up the order in 25 minutes. We ordered chicken koobideh, chicken thigh, and beef koobideh wraps (fries on the side) and they all were extremely delicious with generous portions. They also have ready to go food and their cucumber yogurt and olivieh salad were very good and tasty. We'll be back for sure. Thank you to the team at Aiden's. We ordered two sandwiches:
one chicken breast with cheese, and one chicken breast with mushrooms and cheese, plus one order of fries.
Total came to $42.

Everything was very tasty, fresh, and well prepared.
The owner who made the sandwiches was very kind and friendly, which made the experience even better.

The place itself is small and simple, with a small indoor counter and high chairs, and a few outdoor seats next to the laundromat.
The area was clean, calm and pleasant.

Overall a nice local spot with good food and great attitude.

Located conveniently on Ventura Blvd, a block from Van Nuys, with easy free parking in back, Didar offers delicious Persian food at reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and house-made.

The Zereshk Polo is rice cooked with barberries (they taste like tart cherries). FANTASTIC!!! The serving is large enough for at least two people.

Their Tadig is DELECTABLE crispy rice from the bottom of the pan, with two different aromatic and savory stews on it--so good!

The atmosphere is simple and comfortable, a place to eat, socialize and enjoy your meal.

This food is authentic, fresh, delicious. The owner is so charming and kind that it's a place you'll want to go to again and again.“

I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. Very friendly staff. We tried the Duke's platter. The kabobs were so tender and juicy. The peppers and tomatoes were perfectly grilled.

“I just tried this restaurant for the first time using Uber eats. It is by far the best Persian food I've had in this state. We had started to give up after trying a bunch of them in glendale, in tujunga and other cities. Non of them are good. They are all Overpriced but not eatable.
My friend referred this place to me after she ate at the restaurant. The food was so perfect even though it was a take out. I cant imagine how much better it would be if we ate it there instead of getting it delivered. Thank you for making delicious food. Please dont change anything. Keep up your quality.

“Since I was born, kabob has been my favorite food, full stop. I’ve had kabob all over LA County. They charge you $38 at Raffi’s and Pardis for a kabob barg plate, give you the same amount of meat, and fill the plate with rice. Masis Kabobs’ food has no flavor; they don’t marinate their meat correctly and don’t cook their tomato enough, as it’s always mostly raw.
Harry over at Moon Mart Kabob gives you the best kabob, jigar, and abgoosht. If it’s you and a few friends, go over to Moon Mart Kabob, and you’ll realize why it’s so good, in my opinion. He charges you $20 for kabob barg, and he’s such a nice guy that you’ll be really happy eating there and giving him your business—not just because of his niceness, but also because he knows his stuff.“

“One of my go-to fast food places! Their pizzas and sandwiches are yummy, and the staff is super friendly. The environment is always clean, and they serve up food fast! My only suggestion would be to add more days to their schedule – they're currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Highly recommend checking them out!“

I wanted to make an update since some things have changed since I initially wrote my first review. This is still easily one of my top three Mediterranean spots in the area. The flavors are always on point, the portions are generous, and the quality has stayed consistent over time. One thing that has changed, though, is the gradual price increase. The chicken kabob plate, which comes with hummus, pita, rice, and salad, used to be about $17 but is now closer to $20 or more. I feel a little conflicted because for the taste and portion size it still feels worth it. At the same time, if you are bringing a date or ordering for more than one person you should expect to spend a bit more than you might anticipate.“

Neither nor our guest are fans of their sweet rice.qay too sweet.I would get plain rice. I prefer pilaf Lebanese / Armenian style. Armenian coffee good desserts lacking.
