“I go every Friday to this spot during lunch as i work in construction 2 minutes away. The tacos are 1.25 every Friday so for 4 it's 5.41 including tax I love this spot the tacos are spicy tho so if you're not used to it ask for them without!“

I’m giving Black Bear Diner (BBD) a five star rating because of the beautiful hospitality, from all the staff, especially Misty (General Manager) and Kathy. Misty as a GM is a priceless addition to BBD, she has a positive and powerful vision for the future success of this amazing family restaurant and in addition to the sustainability thereof. Kathy serves you as you were a King and Queen. Also, the restaurant is not COLD as compared to IHOP and Dennys. When I walk into the two aforementioned restaurants I immediately want to walk out due to the frigid temperatures. The prices for the amount of food you get is very generous. I am a big fan of the restaurant theme with a cabin woods feel the entire family can enjoy. The merchandise sold is cute. There is specials for NIGHTS so bring the family. I personally recommend the GRIZZ and the CHILAQUILES dishes.“

“Today my family and I had breakfast at IHOP. We had the most amazing waitress named Dorie(we asked her name). She was very attentive though the restaurant was very busy, she was helpful and moved us from a booth to a table where we were comfortable. (There was not a table available at the time). She was kind, considerate, fast and very pleasant. She knows the menu well and we were very satisfied and happy she was our waitress.“

“This is a permanent food truck outside of a gas station with parking on the street. Prices are really good for the price. Got a burrito and a side of rice and beans. The rice seemed a bit dry/old. The beans didn’t seem to be overall great either. The burrito (with carne asada) was both huge and good. They have some outdoor seating if you want to “eat in”. The little menu they have by the food truck is very limited and basic. The service was fast and the employees were not unwelcoming but they were not overly welcoming either. I would recommend it as an option to try, especially after many of the other places have closed down. It is better than chain restaurants!“

“Arsenio's is inside of a gas station. They also have a drive thru. I love the crunchy chicken tacos. The chicken is very juicy, well seasoned, and flavorful! The customer service is great & friendly and the prices are affordable.Also, like I said, it’s in a gas station, so the seating is a bit different because it’s fitted into the store in the corner. There is no really upkeep on the seating area and the few times I wanted to sit tables were dirty.“

The China Inn was a great dine in experience for a party of 14! The service was top notch, they tended to us all without hesitation and welcomed us right in! The ambiance was family oriented and comfortable.

Lets talk about the food-- I yelped Chinese food places to eat in Tulare and so content with choosing this spot!

With 14 folks and different taste buds, we ordered a bit of everything and everything was OMG SOO GOOD!!! From the curry the jalapeño hot wings Combination fried rice Orange Chicken Sweet and sour pork Mongolian Beef KungPao Chicken crab rangoons house soup the chicken asparagus special was amazing!

They also surprised our Birthday Girl with a sweet serenade and dessert!

We don't pass through often but will say if ever in Tulare we highly recommend this place!!“
