“One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.“

“I've come here with nearly everyone in my family and friends, and each time everyone loves the place!

The sushi has funny names that my nephews like and they come out great each time. Personally, I don't eat sushi, but I like to treat my family to it. Thankfully this place also has non-sushi options!! :D I get the beef bento box and it's really good. The restaurant is small but it does get busy fast so make sure to come at a good time.“

“Love the food here... especially since this is literally one of the very few Mexican restaurants in Turlock that offers ground beef as a meat option. I love the Nachos Supreme (with ground beef), and the tacos are amazing! They have a nice salsa bar also. The seating is a little cramped for my liking, so I just take my food to go. No biggie. Also, I detest seeing flies in a restaurant, but this place seems to manage it pretty well. I will definitely come back! Suggestion: Please switch to Coca-Cola products instead of Pepsi-Cola. Coca-Cola is so much better tasting in my humble opinion.“

“I was looking to for a place that serves tri-tip sandwiches. Often most places don't serve great sandwiches. I was impressed by how amazing my tri-trip sandwich came out. The bread on the outside was crispy. The meat was flavorful. My wife loved the bread on her chicken sandwich. We will be coming back for more.“

Brussels sprouts app was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time- full of bacon bits, parm, cream sauce, baked perfectly, with balsamic & basil on top. “Place looks run down and looks like it’s closed but it’s open. Last we went I was charged for having the bartender make my drink right as it tasted different. “Food was great, but burgers needed a bit more seasoning. Fried green tomatoes with sauce were awesome! But if you're looking for a true Monte Cristo, they'll need to change the battering method. This was more like ham, turkey, and cheese on French toast. The sandwich needs to stay whole, then dipped and fried, then cut in half. The dipping fruit jelly was scrumptious 😋 French fries are very good, too!“

I'm super happy I stopped. My Egg Rolls were crisp & tasty, as was my entrée of Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. If I am in the area, I will gladly eat here again.“

“This sushi restaurant is high quality! I ordered the seaweed salad and it had just the right amount of texture and flavor. The gyōza was good but the dipping sauce saved it. “I went here expecting budget-friendly sushi and that’s what I got. Similar to Safeway sushi where the cuts of fish are thinner than usual. The rice with the nigiri tasted strongly of rice vinegar.

The next plate we got was Teriyaki Combination Plate. The flavor of the noodles was excellent although the chicken texture was pretty dry. I wish the portions were bigger.

Overall, I would stick to the plates and not go towards the sushi. It’s best to go to a dedicated sushi restaurant for that part.
I wish they were open on weekends! I’m sure most of the business would come from those days.

“If I can say one thing about Authentic Street Taco (AST), it would be that THEY DELIVERED. Literally and figuratively. We absolutely over ordered and we could not be happier about it. AST was our end of the night caterer (Wedding on 12/21/24, for reference). We chose to have the food dropped off & set it up in buffet style. There were no unhappy guests & bonus, what we took home, we enjoyed the next night! As a matter of fact, we had some leftover quesadillas (don't know how that happened), so we froze them & later threw into an air fryer & OMG it was amazing. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend.
