“If there was ever a Union City spot that deserved more attention it’d be this one. I’ve tried many things on the menu on various visits and have been satisfied every time; pretty much everything on the menu is solid, and the portions are great. The workers are very good about checking in on tables and can give recs for first timers.“

“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.“

“No need to go to Bodega Bay or Embarcadero SF, so glad this opened to satisfy my seafood fix. Friendly staff, spacious place, reasonable price, and the seafood selection big and quality is as good as any in the overated overpriced touristy seafront restaurants. So glad this opened. In the picture is my order of calamari, 12 oz chunky clam chowder, 12 oz chunky cioppino, and the spacial menu cheesy crab bread. Good portions, with still to take home, and very good quality. Will come back here again with friends and family for sure.“

“Eveything is hand battered, made to order so that is nice. Fresh is always better. Surprisingly, the shrimp are my favorite. The thai iced tea is also really good. It is homemade and you can see them ladling the tea from the pot they made that morning. Even the tartar sauce is homemade. I just just they were open more than just Thurs-Sat.“

“I had called in my order the lady who took my order was very well spoken she repeated my order so they would get it correct. It was ready when I got there I recognized the lady's voice and ask her for the manger she told me she was the manager on duty. She asked me if there was something wrong with the order.I told I just wanted to let her boss know how pleasant she was talking to something about her voice . She said thank you and asked me if there was anything else she could do for me . I stop coming to this location because of the service but decided to give it another chance because I live so close. Joan made me change my mind about it so for the last 2 months I have been coming every week. Great employee. I only go in there when I know she is working.“

“Nice big pieces of fish and a ton of steak cut chips. The fish is cooked perfectly.

They have other fried seafood as well. Not much else other than fried food.

The interior is beat up and the lone TV has seen better days, but the staff is friendly and the service is quick when you consider they fry everything fresh.

They also know how to pack your food so it doesn't get soggy on the drive home.“
