“Me and my family ordered the Pupusa Loca plate to share and it was amazing! I loved the how light, but flavorful the Pupusas were and how balanced they tasted with the Cabbage salad. The service and atmosphere was great; the place can get crowdy with the close seating, but overall the food is delicious and service is Superb.“

“The only place you can find atol de Chuco Salvadoreño!! Take advantage as it is rare to find in a restaurant, so good and only 5 dollars. “Shuco” name of Nahuatl origin, is the oldest typical hot drink of The Salvador, which is made from fermented corn. Atol Chuco is prepared with black or purple corn because of its distinct flavor, although you can use normal maize.Vegetarian options: PupusasKid-friendliness: YesParking: Few slots, street parking behind restaurant but not in frontWheelchair accessibility: YesDietary restrictions: Yes“

“May 27, 2023. First time here, def plan to return. Upon entering, you have to place your order first at the register. They don't take your order at the table. In all my experience reason at a pupuseria, it always takes a while to cook. So if you don't want to wait, you can call in your order ahead of time and pay when you arrive. Your wait time will def be shortened. The ordering process can use improvement.Restaurant is clean, I think they expanded sometime during the pandemic. Lots of tables to eat in. There's a restroom for customers. 2 TVs mounted on the walls.I got the fresh orange juice, so good! Ask for ice if you like it cold. Horchata is good too, a little on the sweet side for me. But it does balance with the spicy salsa. The platanos fritos con todo (beans y crema) was delicious! As were the pupusas! Good size portion pupusas: Chicharron (2), Revueltas (2), Loroco y queso (1), and frijoles y queso (1) paired with the curtiso y red salsa were so savory. Definitely coming back. Need to try the soup and yucca fritos if they have that. They didn't have a take home menu on hand & I didn't get to take a pic of the menu. Next time.“

“You would never think that a Seafood restaurant tucked away at Southland mall would have some bomb pupusas, but this place has some of the best in the East Bay. I would put these up head-to-head with other, more traditional Salvadoran restaurants. Even with ordering ahead, the wait is usually more than 30 minutes, but they're worth it.“
“First time trying Salvadorian food! Came not sure what to expect but got guided and went for what was recommended. The lady was nice enough she guided me on pairing things and was an interesting experience. It was honestly Nostalgic since my great grandfather lived and died in San Salvador which is a whole different world from my upbringing. I will try different to learn!“

“The consistency of the food is pleasant, although you need to be a little more careful with the food because sometimes they are a little burnt, but still excellent serviceParking: Large and available spaceKid-friendliness: Suitable for family dinner or breakfast“

“✅Excellent: fresh cut veggies as carrots, tomatoes, celery, green and red bells and some chayote, worth’s the 30 minute wait for a real Salvadoran free-range chicken soup. I’m so happy this place doesn’t fill up the bowl with potatoes like other places do and the waitresses are always welcoming you with a Spanish sweet smile to make your meal even tastier. ? ?“

“I was lucky to be in the area and get some of the best Pupusas I’ve had in a while. I had chicharrón con queso and it was just right: extra sticky cheese and juicy fat chicharrón. I have saved this place as one of my favorite stop by places for Pupusas.“
