“There's not many clay pot rice places around the area, but this is a pretty solid one. One of my favorite ones was The Chinese sausage one! It's got a good amount of meat and they did a good job not making the rice stick onto the pot too much which can be easily done if over cooked. There is also congee as well as yu choy for order as well if you're not interested in the main dishes. They also starred out with some pickled vegetables which was a nice touch. I recommend where you're eating a clay pot that You share with two people for the regular size as you might have leftovers if you're eating by yourself, Just ordering the bigger size will just add extra leftovers or if you have four or six people. The ambiance is also pretty nice too with a very large painting on one of the walls and decorative ceiling tiles! The furniture and tables don't look to have too much wear and they look pretty recent too. Waiters were mostly focused on cleaning up after a table, but they did refill water when stopped for and asked. Overall, it's just a solid place to get this type of dish with not too much fuss when ordering!

Parking: Parking might be a little bit difficult but keep searching, you might find one...“

“Delicious rice noodle soup at a reasonable price. Many flavors of soups you can choose from. One bowl of noodles rice is big enough for two people to share. Fried egg is a special combination with the soup.

The ceiling has water damage and we can smell the mildew even though it's covered up by the incense so if you're sensitive to smoke or strong scents, I would advise not coming here.

Despite all that, the food is delicious, hefty portions, priced appropriately, and the workers are very friendly.

The feel of the place feels like this place has seen better days and sadly has been forgotten. If someone would help them fix the water damage this place would be perfect.

“I have been eating here for many years, and it completely suits my taste. I particularly like the Maocai and Niu Niu Niu. It was removed from the shelves some time ago and has recently come back. The first thing that hit me was the strong smell of cheese—it reminded me of the scent you get upon entering, which isn't necessarily the most inviting. Anyway, I got the chicken with noodles and the tofu, wood ear mushroom, and cucumber appetizer. The appetizer was really refreshing and citrusy. The entree was really good. The noodles and veggies were served in their own bowl and the chicken and peanuts were served on the side with its green onion/ginger/garlic garnish. You’re able to add your own sauces to your soup. The sriracha and other sauces were off to the side but the chili oil was at the table. Putting everything together was its own unique experience. I enjoyed the different flavors and my overall dine-in experience.

The restaurant was pretty clean and quiet. You can be seated for dine-in or order at the front. Staff was helpful and shared the most popular items.

“I'm currently getting over a cold and needed some hot soup for lunch. I've driven past this place for the past year but never made the effort to come. I decided to change that today. The outside can be a little easy to miss as it's tucked away in an open strip mall, but parking is ample.

I was immediately seated as it was really packed for the lunch hour. The menu isn't huge on variety but in a good way. Too many restaurants try to pack too many items in, but this restaurant knows its identity and what they're good at. They stick to the classic Vietnamese dishes with little to no frills. I ended up with a bowl of beef pho with the rib bone. The food came out surprisingly quick which was excellent for those on a time crunch. The soup was flavorful and hot. They give you a good amount of meat and noodles. Side note - a lot of other pho places have been skimping on noodles lately.

Overall I was really impressed with the level of service and food. I would definitely be back to try other dishes. I was suggested to try the grilled chicken rice dish and the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup). The decor is also really cute and trendy with a really laid back vibe. I definitely recommend it to anyone in the area for some good classic Vietnamese food.“
