“We order pot-roasted beef brisket square and Thai lime pepper crispy chicken, both dish tasty and delicious
On one notes, if you take out and want to eat somewhere else (not home) make sure you ask for chopsticks or fork and napkins.“

“The chichen meal is good. The desert and drinks are good too.
One of my family member is a vegetarian. The store can customize the meal for vegetarians.
The store managers are nice and experienced in doing business.
I buy food from Shihlin every week. It's now one of my favorites in Fremont.“

“a more casual place but that’s what I kinda like about it. I love taiwanese steak and i’m so glad they have a place in fremont now. like taiwan, they have unlimited corn soup and green/black tea on the side, and also served garlic bread. if you don’t want steak, you can get other meats too. my friend got duck and she liked it. if you feel nostalgic for taiwanese night market steak i would try this place out“

“Mr. Lau's Steak House (劉月鐵板.居酒屋) provides authentic Taiwanese-style steak meal, which left me feeling happy after eating it. The set meal includes black pepper rib eye steak (8 ounces, medium rare), lettuce salad, garlic bread, an egg, and spaghetti. The price is so inexpensive and the meal is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back again and again!“

“This place has the best FanTuan and Taiwanese bento and street foods and drinks in the east bay, there hasn’t been a comparable place in a long time, but be prepared to wait an hour after you order. Hope they up their cook staff on weekends!“

“My husband was born in Taiwan. He said, ‘This is very close to home-cooking flavour.’ I found traditional Taiwanese cooking a bit plain, but I gave it 4 stars because it’s very hard to find authentic Taiwanese restaurants that taste this good! We will come back.“

“January 2026:
My family has been asking me to drop by this shop for about a month for Ba-wan (or Mah-wan). They are a large meat dumpling with a whitish-translucent skin, made from a rice flour. It is considered a popular Taiwanese street food and served with a red(-ish) sauce on top.
Pricing is 5.25 each + tax. Each meat dumpling is individually wrapped in plastic wrap, making it simple to purchase however many you want. It will come with a small tub of sauce, so the shop prefers that you purchase the dumplings in sets of 3 or 4. (I have no idea how sauce is presented to you if you order a single dumpling.)
Staff at the shop was pleasant enough. They let me take photos and answered my questions.
I paid cash. I didn't look to see if they take card or alternate payments. I don't think so?
Parking in this shopping center can be absolutely crazy during meal times. Crickets empty at 7pm sometimes. Best to bring a driver and a shopper where the driver just waits to pick up the shopper without needing to locate a parking spot. Takeout is probably best.
I will brave the parking lot to return when the family starts requesting meat dumplings again.“
