“Always delicious whether ordered to go or dining in. I first discovered this restaurant on Uber Eats and enjoyed it so much I began going in person. Service is great too. Dishes I like include the curries, pad see ew, and certainly the mango sticky rice 😋 they have great lunch specials too“

“I would always pass by this place when I lived in Upland a few years ago but never thought to try. We came by for an early dinner a few days ago and wow, their menu is huge! Ranging from standard vietnamese items to a few thai dishes as well. We tried a couple items and it was okay. The pho noodles were a little bit al dente and I was hoping the broth would be hotter to help soften the noodles. The lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl was pretty good. We also tried the mango & sticky rice dessert, pretty good as well.“

“This place was great. I love the fact that the AYCE sushi was not a rice buffet with a little fish. Took my coworker here for a nice lunch and enjoyed the food. Easy to order with the phone app, no need to try and out it all on a paper menu. They informed us there was a 90 minute limit and I can't image eating sushi for 90 minutes straight. The selection was great and the quality was awesome, it just felt like it melted in your mouth. Will be bringing the wife and friend her next week.“

“Their dumplings are so flavorful and their prices are so affordable! I always order the pork xiao long baos and also recommend the pan fried pork dumplings, any of the wonton dishes, and the cucumber salad! Out of their dessert buns I like their sesame buns the best, then the sweet custard, then the red bean. I don't order them as much because I get too full on savory dumplings, but really recommend getting them if you have room.

They usually don't have any music playing, but the foos comes out so fast that I don't mind the silence in the restaurant, which is only the case when no other patrons are seated.

Xiao Long Bao - so juicy, so flavorful, perfect amount of filling. I love these so much and they are definitely my favorite dish from here! 10/10

Pan Fried Pork Dumplings - very juicy for a pan fried dumpling, but somehow still so crispy! 9.5/10

Wonton Soup - I prefer their wonton soup over their spicy ones because it's much more flavorful with the broth! 9/10

Dan Dan Noodles - so flavorful, packed with meat, great sharing dish! I always order it if I'm eating with 3+ others 9/10

Cucumber Salad - Love how the cucumbers aren't too vinegar tasting as I don't enjoy pickle flavors much, but definitely add some soy sauce and chili oil to make the dish even tastier 8.5/10

Spicy Wontons - I wish there was more flavor added than just spicy for their spicy wontons, and their not as spicy as I would like 8/10“

“At first I was put off by the ordering food using a touch screen. Then a very kind gentlemen came up and explained if the option for an addon or modification wasn't there, to just ask him and he will make it happen. Very polite and forward about helping.
The food was fantastic. Got a beef udon sizzling plate, soooo good. Burning spicy and burning hot. Fresh and fantastic. Got chicken udon side and wow the chicken melts in your mouth like a fatty meat. Never do I get to experience such well tenderized chicken. Really really great place. Worth the prices for sure.“

“A hidden gem pho spot close to home. I ordered the combination pho, and it exceeded my expectations. The broth was rich but not greasy, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was well-balanced. “I just went for my first time today, and I had to go back because it was that good! Not only is the owner super sweet but the food is so good! These are the best steam pork buns, I have ever had.

“I was really hyped about this place opening to add to the variety of Korean food around Chino Hills. Soonheene is very popular in South Korea which led me to add this place to my must try list of restaurants, they're known for their amazing street food and it didn't disappoint at all.

Staff were incredibly quick, attentive, and were very friendly in all aspects. Parking is plentiful, clean restroom, and a moderate amount of seating inside the restaurant. The interior is well maintained and just has good vibes when entering, there's also a TV on the wall that plays many variety shows to express just how popular this place is in South Korea.

1. We ordered their signature Tteokbokki and it comes in a decent amount of portions, a great shareable dish and very flavorful when it comes to the mix of sauce, rice cake, and fish cake. There's also a rose version which I also recommend. The Tteokbokki were savory and also not hard to crunch on, cooked perfectly and very enjoyable and addicting.

2. Another must try item is the Mayak Gimbap, comes in 8 pieces, another shareable dish. It's also very well made, with a mix of meat and vegetables, a decent appetizer to the main course.

3. The Oden Fish Cake Soup is also a classic street food signature dish to try. Highly recommend if you're a fan of fish cake, comes in a stick form which is a easy pick-me-up type food. Not too salty and is flavorful as well.

4. The Roasted Kimchi Pork Belly was the main dish we had as a shareable. I cannot fathom how well made this dish is made. The pork belly is super savory, chewy, and flavorful, mixes well with all the side garnishes and sauces.
Overall, Soonheene is definitely a good place for many occasions, dates, take out, and moderate size groups.

Decent prices for amazing quality food. They will always be my go to spot for amazing South Korean street food.“

“A new favorite for sure! The seafood pancake is a must try!! Best one I’ve ever had. I enjoyed their selection of banchan, as they had some dishes I hadn’t tried before. The tofu soup was flavorful. Overall a great place with amazing service. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area!“

“Wow! We came here to check out the ramen wall but ended up getting some bowls off the main menu instead. Tried the beef bowl and the wing bowl with spicy noodle and lemon pepper wings -- the rice was perfectly cooked and the meats and noodles where incredible. The servings are very generous as well, we both left stuffed.

The wait wasn't too bad considering everything was cooked fresh but apparently there's an order ahead option if you don't want to wait as long. They were playing good music and the noise level was such that we could hear each other but didn't feel like everyone was listening to our conversation.“

“I’ve spent most of my life in the San Fernando Valley, where there are more places to eat than I could ever count. So when I find myself driving back to the same restaurant two or three times a week, that says something.

Ginkgo Chinese Restaurant has become one of those places for me. The food is consistently good, the service is always welcoming, and after a while it starts to feel less like a restaurant and more like a familiar stop in my week.

I’m not writing this to promote the business. I simply wanted to say thank you to the people who work here. Good food brings people in the first time. Good people are what keep them coming back.

“The food was great! Compared to most Vietnamese spots, the flavors here are a bit lighter, which was perfect for me. We came here around 11 PM and the music was pumping—so loud that you could actually feel the chairs vibrating. Between the bass and the flashing lights, the vibe is very high-energy. The younger crowd would probably love it! 🤣 Personally, it was a bit much for me, but it's definitely a unique spot for a late-night meal.“

The location is nice and clean with quick service. I got the golden noodle I forgot the name but it’s really good. Can’t want to come by again to try the rest of the items. One thing is that they have an appetizer combo deal. Worth getting just to try all the flavors. I ordered a deal and a noodle and had to bring my leftovers home. “Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Ayee is in the food court & you order from a kiosk. I tried the sticky rice chicken. The sticky rice is a chewy texture filled with chicken and Chinese sausage in a savory sauce cooked in a leaf. This dish was served hot & was so delicious, a must try!“

“Broth in pho was very rich in flavor by far, compared to the other pho restaurants I frequent. Sister and mom also found it to be very flavorful, mom often doesn't engorge herself when we go to the others for their soups, but she finished the one here.“

“The food is okay. Could be better. We had Nasi Ayam Bakar and Nasi Iga Bakar and an Es Doger. I was actually disappointed for Iga Bakar for over $20.00 the beef rib meat really hard and dry. The grilled chicken softer and fell off the bone. Their small grocery store is what we came for.“

“If you’re looking for soup that’s hot and spicy and gets you all toasty then this is the spot for you! We ordered a couple of the recommended soups and other sides like the fried rice with a side of Beef Cilantro. Oh wow! The soup was nice a spicy with plenty of flavor with every sip.
That was the Beef Noodle Soup. Their Wonton soup was also a winner with the wonton skins being so flavorful and tender. The Fried Rice is a great complement for anything you order in my opinion. Lastly the Beef Cilantro dish was a perfect ending to our feast. The service was on point and thanks to Rain our server it made our experience a memorable one. So if you’re in the mood for something like this then check it out and get on the waitlist because this place tends to get pretty crowded.“

“I've had this a few times here, perfect for late flights when everything is closed. Hell I like it better than the other restaurants in this terminal. They hid it in the corner near gate 401 as of Jan 2023, but that won't stop me. You have to get resourceful with the utensils though since they removed the little tray of them it had nearby.“

“It's easy to miss but if you want an Asian food option, this is it! It's in terminal 4, to the right after security, tucked away next to the nursing station. It is so nice to have an Asian food option at the airport, even if it's out of a vending machine. This is not an incredible bowl of noodles but it's pretty good considering it's from a vending machine. The food comes out quickly and hot. The noodles are springy, maybe a little over cooked, the meat was also tender. The broth was hot and flavorful. The vegetables were bad.“

“If you’re in Rancho Cucamonga, Pho Ha has been serving authentic Vietnamese flavors for over 20 years and honestly, that says everything. I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still my go to spot every time the craving hits.

You already KNOW I had to start with the lumpia egg rolls… my absolute favorite. Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer every time 🤌

Today I tried the chicken vermicelli and it did NOT disappoint. The chicken was juicy (not dry at all 👏), and the fresh side salad paired perfectly with the fish sauce and a little hot sauce on top. So good.

And of course, you can never go wrong with their beef brisket pho. The broth is rich, comforting, and always hits the spot.
