When I arrived in Los Angeles 15 years ago, this was the first place I came to eat a good piece of cake and at that time the piece was really generous and the quality was excellent. But over the last 5 years, the quality of the cakes has dropped a lot, the size of the slices has halved and the price has increased significantly. I honestly don't understand what happened, maybe they changed owners or whatever. But one thing is certain, the cheesecake factory is no longer the same....read full review
Service is okay nothing to write home about, we have yet to have an attentive and nice waiter/waitress except for one hispanic young man who cleaned up my sons water spill, he was very nice. We've had a negative experience twice with the same waitress, a blonde lady who wears her hair in a short pony and was there lunch/early evening and Served us on the far right side of the restaurant right next to the bakery on both occasions we had her. Food was decent but overpriced for what it was. Service was terrible. Our waiter dropped off our dinner and never came back. We were going to call the front and ask for help. We sat for 30-45 minutes at least waiting to get some attention, a refill of water, a box, the check. I had to get up and find our waiter.
