“We love Donut & Sandwich Station. The staff is awesome and they always have the best fresh sandwiches. Another great thing they sell are papusas and the cortido and salsa that comes with the papusas is deeeee-licious! I love their croissant sandwiches. They're so fresh and the sandwiches come with pickles, jalapenos, lettuce and tomatoes. I usually get no tomatoes because I'm allergic to tomatoes. Definitely a great place to come and grab a bite to eat!

I would place captions to my photos but every time I do, nothing is saved. This has been an issue for more than a few years with Google Maps.

“This place is awesome. I discovered it a couple of months ago in a search for ultra clean, alkaline water that I could fill my glass dispensers with. Previously, I was buying a glass bottled water that had a reputation of being the best on the market. But when I read a water report, it was still coming back with high lead and contaminants. Even though it’s from a natural spring, sometimes air pollution still plays its part. This place has a very intricate filtration system. The water is balanced and alkaline, and it’s also treated with crystals for spiritual health and wealth. Each of their water dispensers are filled with a different energy relative to the crystals. I’ve been reading a lot about how crystals charge water. There’s lots of videos about it on YouTube, where the electrical properties are measured after the water reacts to the crystals. Anyway, besides all the other good stuff, I love the way the water taste and makes me feel, so I’m going to stick with it. And as a bonus, I love when Ad is working. He is literally the coolest, sweetest, most caring person ever. It’s always a pleasure to walk in the store and see him. The owner Sophie is a pleasure as well. “I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. There's metered parking and also seating outside perfect for a sunny day in LA.

“I own and operate a walking food tour company, so I know a thing or two about the restaurant scene, particularly in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, so hope that gives a little context to my review.

So, my review...This. Place Is. Great! I ordered the "God Save the Quinoa"...quinoa is my favorite grain...and it was perfect. It has all the things you'd want...Kalamata olives, onions, peppercini's and perfectly cooked grilled chicken. But the real star of any salad is the dressing...and this dressing did not disappoint. It's' a lemon vinaigrette, which sounds simple, but there was a little kick to it and something else that I couldn't identify, but I loved it.

John, the owner, has worked for some major superstar chefs and institutions, so he knows what he's doing. He's doing all the basics right while upleveling them in just the way that you'd want. Can't wait to go back and try a different salad or a sandwich.

This neighborhood needs more restaurants like Mad Rebel...healthy choices made from organic and quality ingredients that don't break your budget. If you're shopping at the Beverly Center or staying at a nearby hotel, this should definitely be on your list while in the area. Cheers!“
