“Good seafood! Came here on a thursday night at 7pm and it wasn't packed at all. Come here before it gets too popular, because I can see this place blowing up. Shrimp Aguachile: I recommend waiting for the shrimp to marinate and cook in the lime juice first. When the platter first arrived the shrimp didn't taste as good but as the dinner went on the shrimp was sweeter and delicious at the end. Octopus Taco: Tender octopus, the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste but my friend enjoyed it the best. Sirloin Steak Taco: My favorite taco. Tender meat, yummy sauce, and cheese, you can't go wrong. Fish Taco: Not my favorite fish taco but you can tell the ingredients are very high quality. I think they need a hot sauce to add to this. Kanpachi Ceviche: Solid, not the best I had, but still fresh and tasty. Needs a hot sauce for sure!“

“My first time going here was amazing. I did have difficulty at first finding parking. I didn't check ahead of time where to park or if there was any information where is best to park for this event. The way Google maps took us was on the back end so we parked on street which is free on weekends during the event. We got there before 11 am so there was no problem finding parking when we left closer to 1 pm there was hardly any parking on the street we parked. The music that was played by the DJ was amazing it lighten the mood while we waited in line yo buy food. The food lines were long compared to the other vendors that were selling items like jewelry, art, etc. The food at smorgasburg was super good. I was happy that there was vegan vendors and even vegan options for other vendors. The all vegan vendors were next to each other very convenient. It felt like a diverse of food overall. My partner and I enjoyed it so much. Hoping to come back sooner than later!Vegetarian options: There was alot of vegetarian friendly items. Suprising there was a good amount of vegetarian vendors and had aleast one option for other vendors.Dietary restrictions: There was vegan options there for sure. The service is excellent, they answered all my questions and explained their menu. I created my own sandwich with some recommendations from Johnathan who was awesome. “I don't even eat at gracis senor, but I am writing this review because there is a local law firm called Davis Wright and Tremaine that has been harassing the local taco vendors for the past few weeks in the Pacific Palisades. Apparently the law firm has delivered threatening letters to Gracias Senor (the daytime taco truck), as well as the nighttime pop-up tent-based taco vendors, and perhaps the other trucks as well. There are clearly a coalition of palisades karens who have nothing constructive to do with their time and therefore seek to destroy the hard work of local businesses, lessening the beauty of the Palisades in the process. These same anti-taco-truck karens are probably the same types of people who yelled at people for not taking covid vaccines two years ago: the type of people who thrive on the oppression of the free will of other human beings and live to control others, for it gives them a false sense of empowerment and meaning. These anti-taco karens would clearly like for every single establishment in the palisades to be bland, overpriced, licensed and regulated by some nonsensical city governing body, and close early. The good news is that for every one of the anti-taco Karens who seek to oppress the small business owners, there are twenty more people who support the taco vendors! Don't be intimidated by Davis Wright and Tremaine and the karen army.“

We ordered 3 shave ice and almost immediately my 3yr old spilled hers. They quickly made her a whole new order at no charge. Then halfway through her ice she had a meltdown because she now wanted "rainbow" colors on hers. They were happy to transform it into rainbow colors again at no charge. Here is the bonafide, authentic people's kitchen taste of Los Angeles, far from some gentrified, corporate chain, cookie cutter, sterile offering in Beverly Hills. These tacos filled with stew represent the way food is served at home, not a smorgasboard of menu choices, just a couple of things done well, consistently, and dependably. They represent the taste of the working masses of Los Angeles whose bloodlines in this city are long while weaving in influences from various Mexican regions. It doesn't get more rustic and truly delightful than Mathew's tent stall where the corn tortillas are dipped in stew juices to soften them up before they are toasted on the griddle.
