“Been coming here for over a year and it never misses. I always get the Memphis Gold wings with jerk seasoning, bone-in, and they’re consistently crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I usually order takeout and grab the Ja Pack (12 wings, fries, carrots, and celery). Everything comes out hot and fresh every time. Easily one of the best wing spots in Downtown LA — highly recommend.“

“Went to this place randomly for a late lunch, place was completely empty when we went there. I was curious cause I’ve never had Uzbek food before. It prolly is a family run business, the gentleman who took our order seemed like the one who was preparing the food as well. I like this kind of mom and pop places.

We ordered a beef noodle bowl and a lamb kabab kinda platter: the bowl was really tasty after adding a little bit of lemon juice, before that it felt like sth was missing. The lamb was so damn good ! And after the meal we ordered some “milk tea” that wasn’t on the menu and we were skeptical at first glance but were pleasantly surprised after taking the first sip. It was really refreshing :)“

Service - 10/10 and extremely friendly

Food (taste) - 9/10 - very good and the cheese was literally pulling out. Not the best in entire world but very good and I would repeat.

Value - 10/10 - the portion size was PERFECT…I’m a 30 year old man, and it was just the right amount. Felt satisfied and almost full, but not that I was about to burst after another bite.

Atmosphere - a little quiet when I went but there were a few tables and chairs out to sit and eat at.

I mentioned above but if I move out to LA I will be a frequent visitor!“

“My bf and I each got the Rico Suave, and it is DELICIOUS! All ingredients were high quality and fresh. It came with crema and salsa in reusable cups on the side.

We got nitro cold brew, which was also good. Server asked us if we wanted cream, and what kind (we got oat milk). And brought it out to the counter where you pay for us to add to our coffees. Sugar packets are next to the counter.

We sat at a table that was a bit dirty with crumbs. When we got our food, the foil around the burritos was quite greasy. What’s odd about that is the burrito itself was not greasy.

Service could have been better. Not very friendly. That said, I’m sure we’ll come back since the food is so good. Would like to try some of their other sandwiches, but I’m sure I’ll have the Rico suave again. It’s amazing!“

“I stopped by V’s Grill on an ordinary evening, the kind that slips quietly into the next without leaving much behind. The parking lot was half full, the neon sign humming softly above the entrance, drawing people in from the darkness one table at a time.
Inside, the atmosphere was comfortable enough. Conversations floated through the room like distant radio stations, overlapping and fading into one another. The staff moved steadily between tables, carrying plates and glasses with practiced efficiency.
The food arrived without much fanfare. It was good, satisfying, and prepared properly. Nothing felt extraordinary, but nothing felt disappointing either. The meal did what a meal is supposed to do—it filled the space between hunger and contentment.
There are restaurants you remember for years, and there are restaurants you simply appreciate for being there when you need them. V’s Grill felt like the latter. A dependable stop along the road rather than a destination in itself.
When I left, the night looked much the same as when I arrived. The sign still glowed. Customers still came and went. Life continued quietly around it.
In the end, V’s Grill provided a pleasant enough experience. Not unforgettable, not disappointing—just a solid place to sit down, enjoy a meal, and let the evening pass by.“

“I drive by this spot all the time and finally stopped to give it a try. I got the Al Pastor burrito and was sooo happy with my choice. You see them cooking it right in front of you, all fresh. The tortillas are handmade as well and you can absolutely tell the difference. Love the salsas as well. It’s quick, reasonably priced, and everyone is kind. What more can you want from a local taco stand? If you are wondering whether to stop in, just do it already and thank me later“

“I truly love the customer service here that they provide. The lady is so pilot and kind always understanding and there food is pure Spanish food so delicious. I have even seen the attendent cone out of the truck to go up to the customers cars to take there orders and provude them with their food. Such great people VERY HUMBLE AND HARD WORKING!! And always get work from there, since I do deliveries too for them through Door Dash, and is so kind and easy to chat with. She makes it clear and very understandabing. “Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“
