“I've driven past this place for years and have always been curious what it was all about. Randomly one morning I was on the search for a breakfast burrito and Happy Dogs came up on Yelp. First off, you can't miss it from the street! It has a happy little exterior and it's located right on the corner. The menu is a little overwhelming because they have it ALL. Omelettes, burgers, burritos, tacos, teriyaki you name it. We went with a bacon breakfast burrito and a turkey bacon breakfast burrito. HOLY COW were these bad boys BIG. For two burritos, it was $22. It took a minute to get our food, but it was served super hot! Love love loved their salsa. It was really spicy! Usually turkey bacon is a little boring, but here it was really tasty and actually a little crispy like regular bacon. Just because this place doesn't look super fancy, I wouldn't sleep on it like I did. I will definitely be back for my next breakfast burrito craving! They have a little patio on the side where you can sit and eat and a few parking spots to the side of the food stand.“
“Been going here since the 90sKnows My BD and my daughter. When the Owner is there he knows their orders. And still taste Delicious My Favorite Pastrami Burrito With Everything and I tried the tacos Sooooooo Good Also they have Flavored Pickles but the flavor I wanted was out. Overall ❤️❤️❤️???“
“Jeff's Gourmet Sausage Factory is one of the jewels of our neighborhood. The food is delicious, constantly so, and the attendants are always kind and outgoing. Portions are large without encouraging gluttony- which is seriously possible given how good the food is! Substitutions are welcomed. When you think Jeff's, think delicious.“
“My wife and I were down this area and was craving a hot dog. So we Yelped hot dogs and this place came up. Very glad we did as the chili dogs were excellent. The hot dogs had that snap and were delicious as well as the chili. We will go back next time in the area. A+++“
“This place was opposite our hotel so we decided to pop in for a quick bite one evening. It always looked busy and so we thought we would give it a try. The service was casual, the guys working were fine but not overly friendly. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers with fries and Pepsi to go.The food tasted really good and the prices were very good value for money considering the LA area. Our bill came to $34 in total.“
“The best fast food I have had. EVER.It's the original structure from all of those tv shows & movies and it is now at The Doors 1970 workshop. LA Woman album was recorded at this location. Jim Morrison recorded vocals in the bathroom! Very cool ?“
“Greystoke Grill is an excellent local restaurant. The food has a fresh homemade quality and a menu with lots of variety. The atmosphere is friendly and my husband and I go there frequently. I recommend their BLT as the best ever...add the avocado! Try it, you'll like it.“
“Any time I'm in Sun Valley I'm going to this gem of a place. I like to join the boys after work on a Friday, but today happened to be a Thursday. The owner is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I totally recommend Hound Dog !!!!!“
“Had a great hot dog here tonight with friends. Totally hit the spot. Very clean setup and nicely priced. Nothing fancy. I also love his big dog (German shepherd?) who chills in the corner and greets people. Dude who runs the stand is very cool. Worth stopping by after hitting the clubs.“
“The radish was fresh, yet the rice cakes were somehow bland, and the fried chickens lacked some taste. Although all that food was good, that made me like it. Despite the slow service, I didn't know what took that long to wait for that food. Whatever, that might be a weak point. The restaurant was nice to visit.“
“Best fries and club sandwich i ever had.budget friendly. friendly crew. fast and personalized service and would be perfect if they have bigger space to accommodate more people. overall it's worth getting up early for breakfast and with large servings , would be good too for brunch.“
“The menu at Halal House is a testament to diversity and quality, offering a fusion of flavors that blend traditional halal cuisine with contemporary twists. Among the standout offerings is the Gyro burger, a mouthwatering creation that perfectly balances tender gyro meat and a beef pattie and creamy tzatziki sauce, all nestled between soft brioche buns. Each bite is a symphony of textures and tastes, leaving diners craving for more. The service at Halal House is impeccable. The staff members are knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests, ensuring that every visit is a delightful experience from start to finish. Halal House exceeds expectations on every front. With its delectable Gyro burger, enticing mixed plates, and irresistible sides, this restaurant is a true gem that deserves to be savored time and time again!!!! PULL UP“
“I went there for the history that this joint have in late '80, early '90 and punk rock scene. I found a great place. It is a joint yes but with one of the best price/quality ratio that I have found in all the world.I had the original dog and it was amazing. It was fun and welcoming. I hope to return someday soon.“
“Rather small establishment but it was quite busy when I came one morning (nice short walk from Hilton) with one customer ahead of me but they kept handing online orders. Good bang for the price - I ate my second half of ham croissant for lunch later that day, and whether you dine in or not, the coffee is prepared for to go (they provided individually packaged lid, creamer and sugar).“
“Good, iconic place to get really full on good hotdogs. There are so many types and varieties to choose from that it's almost overwhelming. It may take a couple of visits to master the perfect combination for your own taste. I will recommend the nacho cheese and fries. They were amazing.“
“Food was amazing. We got the buffalo chicken burger and chicken tenders. The food was super super good. We placed the order through Uber eats so don't know what the place inside looks like and also not sure about the service. But as far as the food goes, it was excellent. Also, it's KOSHER :)“
“?Cupid's Hot Dogs?, December 30, 2023 at 6:02pm Me & my daughter & my granddaughter & her boyfriend & my daughter's sister & her daughter & our two furry babies we all had stopped in for some of the best "Chili Dogs" or any of the other Dog's that ? Cupid's has to offer! We ❤ the chili dogs because the Northridge ? Cupid's was the one we always had gone to for (4 generations strong) but we stopped one last time before coming here to say "Goodbye" with a tear in our eye! ? & before I forget we was here 3 years ago for some take-out but tonight was a very special one seeing the girls roller skating around & the music & just the whole atmosphere of being here in person & going back in time to a much better place when people loved one another & cared for each other & the universal language of food as ? "Cupid's Hot Dogs" because we all need to eat! Thank You for making our night & our visit an awesome one!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s & ?%+ The Ochoa Family ( AKA, the poncho family) ??Parking: Handicap parking, parking lotKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I was welcomed with a smile, Kyle was very polite and helpful. I chose Thai Tea and a 3 pack mochinut caramel apple Jack, crispy chocolate and passion fruit. There's no wrong choice! Thanks Kyle for the wonderful service, the Thai Tea was made Perfect! Just like I like it.“
“The frame stand has the best vegan hotdogs. We've been vegan over four years so we've tried them all. This is by far the best. We got to try them at the gentle barn. Our meat eating family member who came along said she enjoyed it and it tasted good. Will definitely be getting one next time we come out! Worth the price!“
“Step into 1946 here, where the owners care, and the food is handmade and delicious. Not the fastest food, but when did that become a priority, anyway? Thoughts like this pop into your head as you ponder the menu and soak in the horseshoe-bar ambience. Then, the food arrives and you are in heaven.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Fun to sit at the "bar," and plenty of options like hot dogs, fries, etc. and the pies and shakes....“
“This is a long overdue review actually - I can back when it first opened and when even the name was different. It was the first korean corndog place to open in LA so hype was definitely there. My girlfriend and I finally made the trip to K-Town to visit this place and there was a bit of a line. But once you're in, getting your food isn't too bad. They have it made to order too so you will have to wait a bit always - but you get it while it's fresh! Selection is fair - we got a classic and one with cheese. Both were good and I highly recommend to get it with sugar because that's what makes it special. my girlfriend prefers the breading on the Korean corndogs because it's not as thick and bready as American ones. The sauce options are pretty decent, but the go to for me is always just ketchup & mustard. Overall it's a good staple, but I don't see this specific spot as a huge wow factor in terms of taste.“
“A relic to visit if you are in Studio City. Up there in status like Mel's Diner or Bob's Big Boy this little burger shop situated in a decomissioned train car has great food and an awesome setting to enioy it in. I have come here since I was a kid, I have seen alot change in the area and it is still around after all this time. They have got it down and I hope they will be around for my kids to experience!“
“If i could give this place 100 star i would , love how they are friendlyBurger so soooo delicious and freshHighly recommended OG Hot dog and skillet burger and skillet friesGood priceThank you for making it HALALThe place cleanAnd the lady in front very sweet and helps a lot explaining the menu options“
“I grew to love this place in Pasadena (if its the same establishment). But then a 2nd time in Long Beach (definitely the same establishment). There are so many great options. I was super excited to find this place in Hollywood.Vegetarian options: Impossible optionsWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk ramps up to door. Dining room is flat (no steps anywhere inside)“
“Fantastic, delicious hot dogs and sausages! The “Chili the Kid" Haus dog and "T-Mex" and "Old Town" Haus sausages were my favorites. This was one of our favorite places to eat in Burbank. The team is friendly and the restaurant is all-around great! If you are exploring Burbank, have just taken the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, or are simply looking for an excellent spot to share a meal and beers with friends, Dog Haus is a terrific choice.“
“For those looking for a fancy LA brunch, keep on walking past Headliners. But if you're in the mood for old school style diner food, step on in. I opted for 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, toast, sausage and a cup of coffee. The hash browns stole the show but everything on the plate was solid. And to boot - Headliners was clean and well taken care of care of. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.“
“Been stopping in here for a few years. It is inside the Greenland Market. The owner is wonderful & has a fun, infectious energy... but actually everyone else who works here is always very nice as well.Never had anything bad from here. The drinks, chicken, chips, dogs, rice cakes, everything has been yummy (never tried the sandwiches but judging from my experiences here, i would assume they're just as good). Doesn't take too long to get your food, but as everything is made fresh, it might be 5-15 minutes depending on what you order. Smart to put in an order first, then do some grocery shopping as you wait ?You can't go wrong with a yuzu slushie, some rice cakes and a half-n-half noodle dog. I sprinkle a sugar packet on my noodle dog - I'd highly recommend trying that if you haven't! ❤️Parking: Plenty of free parking at Greenland market.... but just beware of snatch thieves. Lol“
