I got the Evil Steve on a jalapeños cheddar bagel for brunch and it was perhaps the best brunch bagel of my life ! The combination of slightly spicy pepper jam with tangy goat cheese smear and delicious smoked turkey wrapped in the jalapeño cheese bagel is extraordinary. Best part was the crunchy and crispy shallots to add that final profile in an already special bagel . Out of this world good .

They are also offering a gluten free bagel which is also rare to see .

If Layla were to ever expand to other states they would have a huge following.

“We’re visiting from Australia and this is by far the best bagels we have had on our trip. Staff were very friendly, food is AMAZING and the staff gave us a bagel to try since it was our first time. 10/10 would recommend bagels and the breakfast burritos.“

We ordered a chili garlic crisp bagel with scallion cream cheese and the Lew sandwich on a rosemary olive oil bagel.

The chili garlic bagel paired so well and was toasted perfectly. The Lew was good as well but I’m sauce girl so hot sauce or additional cream cheese would have made this one shine even brighter.

Of course everyone makes them different but the Capers is a big ingredient which they did not have. “I had the Pastrami Sandwich. I believe it’s called Noi sandwich. It is the best of this kind I’ve had. I have had a lot. The meat has great taste without being salty and the unique way they slice the meat makes a great difference.
The Noodle Koogle is delicious as well. Not overly sweet creamy inside which crunchy noodle bits on top.“

“This place is severely understaffed. The employees are hard working, as I sat for my order they were friendly but I saw the urgency was a little overwhelming, people can’t help but feel bad. I am really concerned for their well being as they are often under staffed. There should be Atleast 4 people working at all times. As a business owner myself I’d never just have 2 or 3 employees in what seems to be such a high volume shop. Those are horrible working conditions. Your employees are outstanding, please treat them better.“

“We had such a great time at this cute little spot. We loved the coffees and smoothies. Cameron did an amazing job putting together an iced cappuccino with frothed milk. Never had that before and really enjoyed that. They also have Chagacino and I love that they have tasty mushroom coffee. We are going back soon!“
