My only complaint was that the ambient music started at a reasonable volume and progressively got louder and louder to the point where I nearly had to yell across the table. “We’re very happy to find a halal restaurant near where we’re staying. This was our first time trying Somalian food. The food taste was delicious and interesting and the portion was generous, easily shareable between two persons. Our dish had lots of beef and very flavorful rice.

The restaurant ambience was also interesting, it felt like going back to 1970-1980.“

“Wow. I just put my fork in to pull some chicken meat off and it was so tender the bone popped right out (even though it wasn’t my intent) and came off 100% clean. Unreal.. reminds me of the food back home. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu including the fried eggplant vegan sandwich. We got the lemon chicken, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which is more like a cauliflower steak than florets. Delicious but just an fyi.“

“Indian and Mexican fusion is an incredible innovation. We got two burritos, the appetizer sampler, roti, paratha, a mango lassi, and a tea and everything was so delicious. They even brought us out some soup and rice pudding without us even asking for it. The soup was really comforting on that rainy day and the rice pudding was the perfect light and sweet note to end the meal with. I’m so glad we stumbled onto this place on the last day of our trip. “I came to Los Angeles completely unexpectedly. As a flight attendant, my route suddenly turned into Dubai → India → Portugal → Morocco → Iceland → Los Angeles — and I landed right on the day of the semifinals. I didn’t know the city, didn’t know where to go, and all I wanted was Moroccan food and a place to watch the game.
A friend recommended this restaurant, and honestly… it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was home. The atmosphere, the people, the energy and everything was so genuinely Moroccan. Watching the game there felt like sitting in my parents’ living room back in Morocco, surrounded by family, siblings, and friends. The emotions, the joy, the unity it was unreal.
And the food… the couscous was absolutely incredible. Truly one of the most delicious couscous I’ve ever had.
This place gave me comfort, warmth, and a sense of belonging when I was thousands of kilometers away from home. I wish I could come back again and again and again.

You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. “Been meaning to check this place out for a while, and I finally got a chance this afternoon. I ordered the falafel plate. The food was made fresh to order. The falafel was crispy, and the hummus was perfect. He threw in some spicy eggplant, which was fantastic!

There’s a small seating area inside and some tables outside if you want to eat there. I did carryout.
