“I hadn’t been here in years and stopped by because they have the best lemonade in town. Usually I opt for their pick-3 or 4 option by gazing at the choices and taking forever because it all looks amazing. You can ask for samples btw ?This time around I got their poke bowls, one of each to share. It came with a lot of rice. The toppings were good. It didn’t have much poke in the bowls, mostly rice. But I still enjoyed it cause I do love rice.Their lemonades are what I’ll forever be a fan of. I got their blood orange lemonade and elderflower lavender lemonade. Both were exceptional - you can really taste the beautiful orange bitters and also the elderflower botanicals, and I felt great afterwards.Parking is tough in Venice, I usually go along Electric Ave.“
“Love everyone at RFG! Had been a few times but decided to use their health competition for some new year motivation! They were always super supportive and being able to jump in and grab meals to supplement my attempted meal prepping was such an easy and delicious way to meet your nutrition needs! Highly recommend stopping by for great people and yummy meals!“
“I had a good experience here. One side of the building is a health store where you can get all your black owned products such as black seed, toothpaste, walkers wood jerk seasoning, And other stuff you can’t find anywhere in other stores. Not size the restaurant where they have a plethora selection of smoothies, convenient drinks, and food on order. My favorite was the four options on Jamaican patties. For what they have there, their options are: shrimp and crab, spinach, chicken and jerk chicken (((spicy.)).“
“This chef owned establishment takes pride in what is on the menu. The food is made made from scratch, with very high quality ingredients, to order. A sandwich, a fresh juice, or any other menu item ordered will be worth it. My wife and I are glad we accidentally found this place. We both ate here before hitting the road back home to San Diego. The conversation was great and we left full with no groggy feeling afterwards. Worth every penny!“
“Purple protein smoothieSuper cute atmosphere with a clean bathroom (faucet has hot water ?)My smoothie was sooo delicious, tasted amazing but somehow not too much sugar and came in a sick glass jar?!Staff was really nice as I was early afCan’t wait to sit in sometimeDef recommend, from vegan/vegetarian to poke! Everyone can get good healthy food“
“Based on Uber eats orderCrazy salmon bowl was a 3.5. - had too much carrots, I put no green onions but still was added. Wish there was more salmon. Açaí bowl was 4 but wish it was filled to the top a bit. Smoothie was a 5- the pecan parfais“
“Absolutely amazing, off the charts food and atmosphere! A wonderful date spot with healthy and super eclectic foods. Everything is farm fresh, interesting and super delicious flavor combos that make for an exceptional culinary experience. And flourless chocolate cake is to die for ! “
“This is such a cute spot, I had my reservations, as I am a neighbourhood resident and I had heard not-so-great stuff, but upon going in for my first time, I was recommended a fantastic shake, and I also got a wrap. The boys, both working the counter and the back were the sweetest people, the service was fast, and the food was fantastic. Honestly, I can't give this place enough praises. 10/10“
“Yummy! I've been really into acai lately. When I got a job in Century City, I found myself going to the Century City mall on a daily for lunch. During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. I got an acai with granola, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It definitely hit the spot! It tasted fresh and it was filling. Thank you!!“
“Super fast, delicious, healthy - I’m so sad I didn’t find this place sooner. The chickpeas were fire, I can’t wait to try the meat options. One note is the place seems to have rebranded to “South Bay Eats” from “Ben’s Fast Food” as of writing this review, so I was a little confused finding it at first.“
“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“
“This place is awesome! The extensive variety of options could seem overwhelming, but they seamlessly categorize each tea to make things so easy! Plus having an herbalist right there to help you decide on what works best for you is amazing. Definitely will be returning for the tea and the customer service!“
“This is a restaurant that takes pride in the food they serve and the quality of service that they offer. Parking isn’t the best during lunch, but it’s worth parking far away and walking if you need to…it’s that good.Everything tastes fresh and like it’s made with love. They have a TON of options including your traditional burgers and fries but also healthy options like wraps, salads and more.I always feel like they appreciate my business and go out of their way to make sure I enjoy each visit. I’ll be eating here for many years to come.“
“Food was fantastic. Breakfast Burrito and the Acai bowls were really good. However, I was disappointed with the service. Even though I clearly stated that I was Eating In, I was given my Acai bowl in a throwaway plastic container with a wooden spoon. It just seemed they weren't very open to giving you proper cutlery and utensils to eat your food. Even my breakfast burrito came in a throwaway container. They don't seem to be very environmentally conscious at all, lots of one-use plastics, and their bins were overflowing.“
“I ordered a Pralines and Cream smoothie. It was tasty but more importantly I felt light and energized after it and no sugar crash! The owner is friendly and warm! The smoothies have the cutest little stick on lids I had never seen before. Will be back to try more!“
“This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“
“This place has an indescribable feeling! The shakes and teas are really good and nutritious. Ali and his team are very supportive. The step class is something you have to experience.Dietary restrictions: They have vegan and non dairy options“
“For as small as this place is, it was worth it! The food was so good, probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had. My friend and I shared the chilaquiles and the chocolate banana pancakes which were also so fluffy and not overly sweet, they were just right. We came on a weekend for brunch so the place was packed and there was a line waiting to be seated. Good thing we had reservations. Seating is both outside and inside but considering it was a very hot morning, we opted to stay inside. Service was very slow for us compared to others but at least the food made up for it. To drink I tried the chocolate raspberry ice coffee and it was really good as well, again it had just the right amount of sweetness I didn't have to add anything to it. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place (be sure to make reservations)“
“Probably some of the best food on Slauson Ave hands down. Got blessed and had the opportunity to meet the owner himself, big shout out to the chef himself he knows what he's doing in the kitchen! Highly recommended, the perfect spot to grab something to eat and visit Nipsey's Memorial.“
“Their products have changed my life and have been there for me for pretty much every major health crisis my husband and I have had for a decade.Their products are truly life-changing, life-saving even. My husband recovered from serious liver disease (grade I hepatic encephalopathy, very high ammonia) by using their Astragalus, Schisandra, Salvia, and some other things from here. Their products like Goat Placenta and Changbai ginseng helped me to heal chronic unhealed injuries that I'd had for years. The Jing supplements like Super Jing just made such a difference in my life and helped me to recover after years of chronic illness and stress. Their products have been there for me when I had scary health stuff and helped to make it much more manageable. The tonic herbs are so restorative and make you feel like you can conquer the world! Tonic herbalism is the original "drug discovery." They source their ingredients so well and the effects are SO much greater than from the same herb from another company. They are the best herb company I know of, even better than high-end companies like Gaia. I've spent a lot of money here and it's some of the best money I've spent in my life, for what it's done for our life force and experience of life.“
“I always enjoy True Food Kitchen for it's diverse and unique offerings. The food is always fresh and the wait staff and very friendly and professional. This is healthy, clean food. I especially appreciate the array of vegan options, not just a mock meat burger and a side salad, but legit tasty vegan options throughout the menu, including dessert! It's one of the few places I can confidently go with none vegans and know we'll both enjoy something on the menu.“
“I've only tried the smoothies and just a few of them. The number of options and quality would easily be 5 stars but the price is just too high. They aren't huge and anything over $10 for a smoothie is way too much for me. Still, I will probably be back at some point because it's in a good location and tastes so good.“
“Their products are high quality, organic, no added sugars and no fillers. I have bought the detox bundle a couple times. I love all of the items included. I will warn that the mellow yellow is potent. The turmeric is good for inflammation, but I couldn't handle the taste. The grateful gut is something I have made a part of my daily routine, it has worked so well to stop the digestive issues I've had all my life. It looks green and gross but it taste like a citrus celery juice. I ordered the collagen for the first time and look forward to trying it. I use the Skinny Protein and Super Greens in my smoothies. I love the smoothie recipes included in the guide. The Forever beautiful is also delicious in smoothies or mixed in to water or tea. You can also sprinkle these right in or on to food as well. They are worth the cost and I highly recommend!“
