“I ordered a döner from their food truck in Hollywood, it was good but not great. Coming from Europe I know what döner supposed to look and test like. European döner is with lamb meat has a mixture of shredded lettuce and red cabbage, onions and loaded with a yogurt garlic sauce. Overall it was still good.“

“Seaside has been in business since 1961. Fun experience, Seaside Kitchen is the original , all in one spot for cravings in Venice beach. Has Health Options as well. Im so sad for Seaside, so another company took the exact food experience in has their shop next to Seaside. Seaside is changing their name, like something to do with mermaids. “I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“I’ve seen this place since 2017 but never decided to eat here once I found out it was a Greek restaurant (at that point I thought they just served chopped up grilled chicken on top of bowls of salads with olives) but boy was I wrong.
The service is as good as the food, both magnificent. I finally came here because of LATryGuy on YouTube review in one of his YouTube channel shorts and when I saw the chicken I said “OH it’s like Dino’s Greek style chicken with the seasoning and lemon juice on the bed of fries at Dino’s restaurant) I tried both types of lemon garlic chicken meals at Maisons so far the regular and spicy (which it’s actually not that spicy at all) and they were good. The gyro is good too, I’m just disappointed they have not re-upped on the LEGENDARY LAMB CHOPS for months after the review. Next I have to try the shrimp pasta like LA TRY Guy reviewed he said it was a 10/10 for everything.“

“So I’ll start this by saying that I’ve eaten a lot of gyros in my life. I like gyros. So when I saw there was a spot near me serving gyros, it really excited me and filled a craving that I had for awhile.
I got two lamb gyros with feta cheese and extra tomato/onions. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh from an extremely nice couple. They got my food to me quick and I devoured both. Honestly I could’ve just done one with how big they were.

“Gladys is a gem. Friendly, welcoming, sweet. She took my order and as always efficient. When I went in to pick up my meal, which has been a very regular occurrence, she was on a break. I asked the young lady taking my money to thrown in some pickled as I always do. She was staring at the register and after a time I asked if I could swipe my card. She explained that the pickles had charged when only with a bowl. I mentioned that it’s never been mentioned and said she would speak to Gladys about that. That is NOT what you tell a customer when you can’t figure out how to enter it and make them wait. I asked to speak with a manager and she proudly announced that she was one of the ones in charge. She proceeded to further explain about the charge, but she would give me one this time. It’s not the money, but a friendly welcome with a smile would have been preferred. Every other employee is fabulous, but I suggest that this person gets advised on customer service. There are other establishments with food and for that matter other Zankou’s. Here’s to Gladys for doing a great job!“

“Me and my friends went to Calabra for sunset and had the best experience. Our server, Danil, was amazing. He went above and beyond, especially when one of us asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and we loved the seafood tower. Overall, the service from the entire staff was excellent. Other servers checked in on us, cleared plates promptly, and brought the bill without delay. Danil’s attention and friendliness truly made our visit extra special. 🤩“

“The staff here is really kind. They work very hard and are super nice. The owner needs to compensate them better and more fairly or hire more people to help them because it seems they are always busy and stretched thin but still do their very, very best.

As far as the food, it is very overpriced. You don't seem to receive your money's worth but it is still fresh and not too bad in the taste department.

The atmosphere feels tiny but is quite cozy as a result.

Overall, I would return but maybe not frequently. The people working here are the best part of the experience and they deserve better pay and more help.“

I got the schnitzel plate and it was a very generous portion (more on the pricey side but you do get a lot). I picked my side and got the rice, that was good. You also get a pita.
I really like the meat, the hummus was great. Overall, it was great.

We also got some fries and the mushrooms. The fries unfortunately were a bit soggy but that’s to be expected when ordering - if you don’t eat right away - but still tasty.
The mushrooms - there could be mixed feelings but I love seasoned mushrooms and they had a great one! Very interesting, but I really liked it!“
