“Tried it while staying nearby and I'm so glad we did! The cashier was pleasant and on point. The food was ready quickly, everything was hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. We had tacos and chips and guac. The pollo asado and carnitas tacos were my favorite. The salsa was the best part. The green salsa was so flavorful with a nice slow burn. And the Pico de Gallo was not hot at all but delicious on the chips and tacos. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! Nice people, great food, clean and cute restaurant. Thank you!“

“One of the best food trucks in North County. Authentic ensenada fish & shrimp tacos. Made from there family recipe that originated in Ensenada ! Now these Tacos & burritos are actually better that the Mexican original as Meche's adds tomatoes and proprietary ingredients to upgrade what they offer. Very comfortably the best fish tacos of any food truck.“

“This is definitely a to go style taco shop, or a quick lunch break and you aren't looking for ambience. But the food is sit down restaurant quality. I'm a gardener so I've had plenty of burritos over the years and the ham + egg breakfast burritos are top notch tasty!“

“Amazing, true al pastor tacos. 8 aguas frescas varieties freshly made each day, amazing roasted onions and pepper side plates if you ask nicely, etc. If you’re looking for good farmland-style Mexican food, look no further. If you don’t love guacamole, make sure to have them go light on it - for some reason they scoop guacamole on everything and that’s my one complaint. It’s not bad, but it’s just too heavy-handed by default

Also, don’t go here if you’re trying to eat some soy nonsense. Go eat a salad or something; this is real food - expecting it to be good at hyper-processed vegan ingredients is setting yourself up for a bad experience.

“We tried ordering several things but they didn't have anything double, and nothing with milk shakes. What we did finally order was fine.service was good and quick.but out front was some homeless man who was blowing his harmonica on like the highest his speaker would allow and it was pretty annoying maybe they should ask him not to sit directly in front of the front door.“

“I love that they have kept some alternate options on their menu. My fave go-to's are their chicken teriyaki bowl combo, and the chicken fajita pita. I still like their mini tacos,but their original 2 crunchy tacos are still a better deal .“

You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. This kid is 100% manager material — I’ve never once seen him without a positive attitude.
