“Great sports and beer bar. They have lots of TVs playing a variety of games. Their beer list is pretty good where they mix the standard beer selections with local craft beer selections. Service is always great...they serve by committee so you can order and ask question from whatever server is nearby. Very good food for a beer/sports bar.“

“This is THE BEST fine dining steakhouse in North OC with a vibrant, classy atmosphere. From the steaks and seafood to the cocktails and old-fashioneds… everything is amazing. We’ve been patrons since it opened and would even order takeout (even old-fashioneds to go!) during the pandemic. A splurge but absolutely worth it.“

“This place is such a hidden gem! The food exceeded all my expectations—grilled skewers are juicy and well-seasoned, and the stir-fried noodles have perfect texture. Service was attentive, our order came out fast and the workers were polite. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, really a great spot for casual meals with family or friends. 10/10, I’ll be a regular customer from now on!“

“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“So I usually do this when I go out of town, I goggle dive bar near me, well this is it. A good place for drinks and karaoke on a Wednesday night with KJ Helen, just come on in and just blend in. Sing a song, no one knows you anyway, Once you visit, you'll be telling yourself the next morning, yes that was a dive bar. Say Hi to the lovely always polite bartender Nancy.“
“Thursday Nights !! A+ Bartender Rosie goes above and beyond . I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. She brings in a collective of different patrons all friendly Never once not felt safe when I am there It’s a shame the other Bartenders at this places sister establishment in Covina were as well Trained as Rosie. Or even new had to make a drink Tina’s Tavern Thursdays Hands down the place to be“

“Amazing service came with my family to celebrate my birthday. Our waiter was exceptional Yamileth took care of everything my family is a little picky so we had a lot of substituting items which she gladly did with no issues. “Finally! I was able to stop by this place on a Thursday.
Bianca was just cool. She let us sample a couple of beers and poured with a smile.
This very unpretentious spot is what it is.
Fun, clean, good vibe-e, small but with a big feeling and bonus there’s a mini-stage, patio, and a pool table.
Good beer selection.
Good prices.
A dive bar meets a hole in the wall with the best atmosphere.
It was karaoke night. It was fun.
People that are just looking for a pint in a super relaxed, super chill, super be YOU setting and simply cool.
First time and definitely not my last.
Don’t blink because you might just miss this place.
Bonus, it’s walking distance from The Hat and Wendy’s in case you get hungry.
Occasionally, yes, a food truck will pop up and it makes it all even better
You should swing by this spot ASAP.

“I absolutely love this restaurant! As a celiac I have very limited options on places that I can safely eat at and I feel extremely fortunate that this is one of them. The food is exceptional and being all gluten free I can enjoy a variety of amazing dishes here. The service is also wonderful with attentive waiters who are full of life. The atmosphere pulls all of what I previously stated together with live music and visually spectacular place to dine“

“I was there for a 30 yr old birthday with a friend and it was a nice atmosphere Kareoke was good lots of nice voices ( I can make a choir out of them) LOL. All in all it good. But I left early cause I don't like staying out to late so 10ish was a good time to go home.“

“I didn't take any photos, because it was mostly just appetizers and drinks, but we had a wonderful evening here tonight. Sat in the bar and our food and drinks came out sooooo fast! But in a good way! Super efficient and everyone helps everyone. All of the wait staff was smiling and cheerful. It was so nice to witness. Lisa was our server, and she was super helpful with the menu items and our drink decisions! We will happily return.“

The lineup for the VIP meet and greet was chaos. Nobody from the venue was letting any of us know where to lineup so people were lined up on both sides of the doors and eventually crowded around a single person in front of the doors to get signed in. It was so confusing.“

“I used to live in the area, it was my favorite place to go for a beer on a weekend night. The bartenders were friendly, the regulars were nice local people, the beer selection was always on top. The bands playing were good. I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. I try to visit whenever I'm in town.“

If pizza had a Mount Rushmore, Barro's Pizza would be carved into it twice--once for the food and once for the vibes.
Let's start with the obvious: this pizza is elite. I'm talking old-school, done-right, no-nonsense, how pizza is supposed to taste. Perfect crust. Sauce that actually tastes like tomatoes (shocking concept these days). Cheese that pulls like it's auditioning for a commercial. Every slice hits the same, whether it's your first or your fourth--and yes, you will go back for more.
Now add the atmosphere. TVs everywhere. Not one sad corner screen--multiple TVs, perfectly placed, so no matter where you sit, the game is on. Football, basketball, playoffs, random Tuesday night action--it's all there. This is a sports fan's sanctuary. You could bring rival fans here and they'd still leave friends, united by pizza.
The place itself feels like a classic neighborhood pizza joint perfected, not trendy, not try-hard, just confident. Families, regulars, first-timers--it works for everyone. Loud enough to feel alive, comfortable enough to stay longer than planned.
Honestly? If the President of the United States wanted pizza without the Secret Service, this is where they'd come. No politics. No nonsense. Just great pizza, great energy, and a reminder of how good things used to be--and still can be when done right.
