“I like this spot! They give first-rate food, their menu is varied, The chef in that restaurant is very experienced, I love a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh, the service towards the customers is efficient. I often go to this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.“

“food was very good i ordered the fried fish fillet, the shrimp and the chicken and beef fajitas, they were all equally as good for their own reasons, presentation was amazing and sizing was amazing, overall one of the best mexican restaurants i have ever been to. 10/10 if i lived here i would go again and again. the handmade tortillas were a nice touch!“
“3.8/5
The chicken burrito was delicious and satisfying. The beans and rice were bland, but the salty chicken made up for it. Overall, I’d come back on trips down I-5 if the area isn’t too crowded.
They even grill it for that toasty tortilla flavor and offer three sauces: casero red, green, and a red taquero with diced onion and cilantro served on a molcajete. Not docking points off the place, but that’s not a true molcajete salsa its just served in one. The 3.8 rating is solely based on the taste of the burrito.
This place is a hit, and I recommend it as a burrito enthusiast.“

“I came to get lunch and wasn't sure I wanted salsa with the costillitas and they were extremely sweet about it! Let me tell you, I'm from LA, this spot is better than most restaurants out there. Soft yet a bit crunchy and so flavourful. Absolutely delicious 1000/10“
“Food is always great here. Been going to this place a long time and during my pregnancy I ONLY craved tacos from this place. My mom started getting tacos from here a few years ago and then I started to. Will definitely keep going here and this will always be my first choice as these are the best tacos around“

“1st time here. The place gives a hole-in- the-wall atmosphere and vibe... but most importantly, that service! — they were patient and helpful with someone who isn't from around here and didn't have cash, but I handed my card and they improvised with a zelle number! — 5/5... and the tripas and pastor tacos hit the spot.Would definitely stop here again if I'm ever in town.“

“I have been going to La Fonda at both the Shafter and Wasco locations for some time. I am just some hapless gringo with a hobby that brings me to the area twice a year or so from my home in Utah. But I have to say that my meal this evening was beyond expectation. I am not Catholic (nor Mormon), but for some reason fish on Friday is what I crave. So I ordered the fish tacos tonight in Wasco at La Fonda. They were delicious! The breading was crispy, the fish tender, perfect! The tortillas were not the focus of the dish. I am beyond pleasantly surprised! Wasco has a variety of dinner options, even a wonderful little sushi restaurant that sadly, closes early in the evening and therefore is usually unavailable to me, though I will hit it when visiting again in February. But La Fonda fish tacos tonight were the bomb!!!“

“It was our first time eating here, and we really liked it. I had the Camarones a la Diabla, which was very good. Hot, but not overwhelming. The wife had chile rellano and chile verde combo, which she said was very good. The rice and beans were also tasty. They put a salad of some sort on the plate, and it was way too vinegary. We're not in Wasco often, but we'd come back for sure.“
