“A Subway in Weed, California. Dude! Outstanding customer service and great food made for a wonderful lunch. This is our new stop for Subway on our way home from Oregon. The Subway in Yreka is under new ownership and it is a shit show. Yreka is where we used to stop for Subway. The sandwich artist has been at the Weed location for 10 years. She was a breath of fresh air. We had the wrap and also the flat bread turkey today. The wrap is now made using the flatbread and although tasty it is very messy. Lesson learned! We plan on making a stop here after Thanksgiving and plan to try something new. Yreka's loss is Weeds gain.“

“This Subway is inside at Travel Center but it's not gas station food. Subway always rocks and their cookies are great.Some dude was totally high getting a sandwich before us. He said "yes" to every add on and "yes" to every doubling of every ingredient. He was so animated we couldn't help laughing. All said and done, it cost him $30!!! We were all shocked. The dude said, "I've never paid $30 for a sandwich before". The clerk had the best response ever. "You want a $30 sandwich, I'll make you a $30 sandwich. You want a reciept so you know what happened when you wake up." Epic.The travel center was cool also but not much local souvenir stuff.“

“I walked in and was greeted by a bright young woman. I think her name tag said Steph on it. She was so welcoming and kind. She made my sandwich perfect even with my annoying pregnancy request. Steph was super friendly, seems to brighten the atmosphere and I deff tipped on my way out.“

“One of my favorite diners ever. Great food, I had the cinnamon roll French toast it was amazing. Infinite free refills on soft drinks. Amazing decor with things like old wooden skis and snowshoes. Our waiter was very kind, I believe she might also be the manager/owner. Will definitely be coming back.

Parking: Parking in front of the building and behind. You will definitely find a spot
