“This is my second visit. The store carries variety of sandwiches and can be made on any bread. I ordered eggs salad on a sourdough bread. The portion size is huge and very filling. It was flavorful and delicious. On my last visit I had a Turkey sandwich. It was delish as well. The service is was great and the place is clean. They have plenty of table to eat inside and outside. If you are craving for any sandwiches, stop at this location.“

Fresh bread, very good meats and generous serving.For $5, you can add a very small serving of potato or macaroni salad and a medium drink. The potato salad was a little dry and tasteless. Free drink refills.Parking is limited, and the available dining area is small, but OK, if you arrive after lunch time.Recommended.“
“My go-to place for Italian subs. ??I announce the motocross races here in Southern California and I always have to have Claro's up in the tower when I'm on the mic. ??I get the spicy Mike large and I have them swap out the ghost pepper jack with manchego cuz I'm digging sheep and goat cheese right now. It's fantastic either way. ??There's plenty of parking at this location and they're not stingy with the portions. The staff is extremely friendly and they have lots of goodies in the market to browse and try. Today I brought home an Italian artisan beer and I have to say it is fantastic. “This place has great sandwiches. Although the selection is very limited, the quality definitely makes up for it. Another plus is that you can buy your own ingredients and take them with you to make your own creations at home.What really surprised me is how great the pizza is. If I had one complaint, it would be how pickled the pizza tastes with jalapeños on it. Maybe easy on the jalapeños? If you love meat on pizza, though....this is the place to go in Covina.It's just a shame they took down the signs about not putting onions in their sandwiches and removing the pacman game from the first table in the dining area. Those were nice little touches that gave the place a particular charm I very miss.- Dip your pastrami if you want a jucier sandwich.- If you want mustard or mayo, you have to ask for it.- Try it the way they make it before deciding to customize.“
“Ordered online to be picked up before our Wednesday Thanksgiving celebration. Several time slots available and easy enough to order with few choices to make.4/5 stars because ham is pricey. My sister picked up the ham and wasn't given instruction on how to serve. She called a friend that used to work here and learned that the ham should be left out on the counter and not refrigerated, prior to serving. Honey Baked Hams are consistently delicious and Thanksgiving 2023 was enhanced by having a yummy ham on the table.“
“Wheelchair accessibility: There is only one wheelchair/Van accessible space, and be aware that the shop is tiny as it is, the turn to get into the store is very tight off the ramp, and the door is relatively narrow, but a wheelchair, my standard wheelchair does fit through the door, and I'm the one pushing.“

“The mini taiyaki were so cute and good! Great to snack on and also makes a really cute gift.I tried the custard, sweet potato, and chocolate filled mini taiyakis and they were all good. “Shau May is literally a part of my childhood! I've grown up on shau may food my whole life. They're one of the only places that will give you so much quality food for such cheap prices. We get these two boxes absolutely stuffed with food for only $19. Just get the 3 entree + soup combo. With so many restaurants raising their prices over the last few years, the bang for your buck you get at Shau May is one in a million!“
