The room was beautiful. Went for lunch. The salad was sparse and tasteless. Mostly lettuce. Pasta was good. Ordered calamari as appetizer and came after entree. Waiter went missing and bartender cleared the table. Minimal service. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

The location is absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the hills and DTLA. Customers have praised the absolutely outstanding food, including the Beef Wellington, a whole piece with the timings, and the wonderful service. The restaurant is a perfect setting for an evening out, with a vibe that’s both upscale and modern. Bartenders serve very nice cocktails with great service. Overall, Boxwood is a cozy, upscale spot ideal for relaxing, enjoying good food and drinks, and casual outings.
