“This was a great brunch and starting with the grapefruit and juniper spritz set the right tone because they were perfectly balanced. I hate cocktails that throw off the balance with alcohol. Baked scallops, great flavor; lobster pasta I highly recommend because the sauce could be eaten by itself it’s so good; smoke salmon Benedict was done to perfection and the highlight for me was the addition of avocado and a very thin super crispy muffin! I always think muffins are too big so that was a big plus for me.“

“The food was incredible. It was among the finest French cuisine I've experienced in the US and outside of France. The ambiance was exceptionally good. It's certainly a fantastic spot for a wedding anniversary or a fancy romantic French evening. I loved it and will definitely return. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made us feel special throughout the meal. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's artistry and passion for culinary excellence. Be prepared to spend as this is a refined establishment despite the garden atmosphere. Everything we purchased was delectable, and although it was simple they have great wine selection. I will definitely be back! They also have valet so you don’t need to worry about parking.“

“Went to an amazing event here.

Everything was beautiful, but the outdoor bar service doesn't provide water, and directs you to the lobby inside of the hotel. The bartender was also resistant to making non-alcoholic drinks, in spite of the dry menu put out for guests. This is very dangerous, but thankfully we were in a crowd of safe people.

Maybe vet the event staff a bit closer, but it is still a great venue. I have a feeling the dinner service will be much better, and I'll look forward to coming back for that.“

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

The drinks are well-crafted but definitely on the pricey side, a margarita runs about $32, which is pretty stiff. That said, the atmosphere is worth it for a splurge. Great place for a date night or to impress out-of-towners. Four stars for the service and setting, minus one for the steep prices.“

“Delicious Chinese food with unique menu items all delivered in a fantastic old school Hollywood atmosphere. From the pictures on the wall of the great stars of the past and the booths where Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Burt Reynolds hung out, you can feel the history and reminisce about the past. The boa, lettuce wraps, scallion pancakes, fried tofu, and chicken salad all were excellent choices. They also had great drink choices. The only downside was that parking was in a paid parking lot and the restaurant prices were very high.“

“The Comedy Store in Los Angeles is an amazing place for live comedy. The atmosphere is always fun, and the comedians are truly some of the best around. The energy of the crowd makes the shows unforgettable, and you never know who might make a surprise appearance. The only downside for me is the menu. It’s very small and limited when it comes to snacks, whether hot or cold, which can be a bit annoying if you want more food options during the show. Current options are pizzas, hot pretzel and cookies.

“Walked in and it’s like getting smacked in the face with Studio 54 nostalgia—million disco balls hanging from the ceiling like they’re auditioning for a 70s fever dream. The vibe? Oh, it’s cool, no doubt. You feel like you’re one martini away from rubbing shoulders with some washed-up rock star.

Now, the music? Yeah, it’s good, but it’s like they cranked that dial one notch past “let’s have a good time” and into “blow out my eardrums.” It’s loud, but not the fun kind of loud. We’re talking borderline distortion. It’s like they hired the DJ and forgot to hire anyone to adjust the soundboard.

But the staff? Gotta give it to ‘em. The bartenders are fast, I’ll give ‘em that. Drinks could’ve been better though. So, yeah, it’s got some pros, a few cons, but if you wanna feel like you’ve made it to disco heaven, this place’ll do the trick—just maybe bring some earplugs.“
