“This was a great brunch and starting with the grapefruit and juniper spritz set the right tone because they were perfectly balanced. I hate cocktails that throw off the balance with alcohol. Baked scallops, great flavor; lobster pasta I highly recommend because the sauce could be eaten by itself it’s so good; smoke salmon Benedict was done to perfection and the highlight for me was the addition of avocado and a very thin super crispy muffin! I always think muffins are too big so that was a big plus for me.“

“This place was just what I was looking for. Love the French decor and ambiance! The Spanish guitar was incredible and really made my night. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Love the outdoor patio especially on a warm night. We had a waiter that was friendly and conversational. Was so sad to know this place is closing. Was my first experience here, and I would have come back and referred others. Wonderful place that LA needs more of“

“Absolutely loved Chez Mia, came here for a girls night and had the best time. The vibes were great — warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The food was delicious— every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were so attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they care about creating a great experience for their guests. Highly recommend this spot — can’t wait to come back!“

“Went to an amazing event here.

Everything was beautiful, but the outdoor bar service doesn't provide water, and directs you to the lobby inside of the hotel. The bartender was also resistant to making non-alcoholic drinks, in spite of the dry menu put out for guests. This is very dangerous, but thankfully we were in a crowd of safe people.

Maybe vet the event staff a bit closer, but it is still a great venue. I have a feeling the dinner service will be much better, and I'll look forward to coming back for that.“

“Been here twice with my daughter - Got my husband the chai tea latte and I got the day dream, both delish. Great service everyone’s been super friendly. I even left my phone the second time and the girl came outside to give it back to me before I walked too far. Will be back!“

“So so good! Their basic house salad had a very clean, delicious taste with a lemon vinaigrette. We also got a cheese pizza and 10/10 would recommend. Was a thin crust pizza but good crispy crust, not too thin. I got a strawberry spritz, non-alcoholic drink that was fresh and my friend got the Espresso Martini. I'd never tried one before but had a sip and will absolutely get it next time, very smooth. The bartender was nice and attentive.“

“We visit our grandkids (and their parents) from Florida. We stumbled across The Butcher's Daughter in West Hollywood (CA) and it became our faourite restaurant out here in 1 visit. The food is amazing. The actual restaurant is very different in layout but very appealing. The wait staff have all been top of the line. I went there last night with 2 friends that I haven't seen since we all went our separate ways 40 years ago (two are here in CA) and we had a great time. It was a wee bit noisy at night - the mornings are usually a little quieter. We took my grandkids there - 16-month-old twins - and again, the experience was excellent. We are all looking forward to going back again as soon as we can. Charles PS. The Mushroom, quinoa and beet burger with gruyere is completely mental - in a very good way. And if you want your country fries crispy, they will do that too!“

The drinks are well-crafted but definitely on the pricey side, a margarita runs about $32, which is pretty stiff. That said, the atmosphere is worth it for a splurge. Great place for a date night or to impress out-of-towners. Four stars for the service and setting, minus one for the steep prices.“

“Craig’s is our go to place to dine and celebrate all important occasions. It is truly our home away from home close to where we reside. Craig and his team are like family. From the pictures on the wall of the great stars of the past and the booths where Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Burt Reynolds hung out, you can feel the history and reminisce about the past. The only downside was that parking was in a paid parking lot and the restaurant prices were very high.“

“Harlowe turned into a fun night out with friends for us. A bunch of us had gotten together after many years without seeing each other. This restaurant/bar/club was the perfect setting for an epic night. The drinks and the service were absolutely awesome!“

When I booked, I was told there were no kids allowed after a certain time, but when we arrived, there were several families with children — including one crying behind us for most of the meal. As far as service, our server was decent but not very attentive. We only saw her twice during the entire dinner, and when our appetizers came out, we had no silverware and had to wait until we could get her attention. It was my wife's birthday (which I noted on the reservation), but the table we were given was subpar — right between two large parties, which made conversation difficult. Our food took over 35 minutes to arrive, and overall, for the price and the reputation of the restaurant, it just didn't live up to expectations. Definitely an experience to remember — but not for the right reasons. 3/10 P.S. I heard about it the whole flight back home this morning 😢😢“

“The Comedy Store in Los Angeles is an amazing place for live comedy. The atmosphere is always fun, and the comedians are truly some of the best around. The energy of the crowd makes the shows unforgettable, and you never know who might make a surprise appearance. The staff is very friendly and keeps things running smoothly, which adds to the overall great experience.

The only downside for me is the menu. It’s very small and limited when it comes to snacks, whether hot or cold, which can be a bit annoying if you want more food options during the show. Current options are pizzas, hot pretzel and cookies.

Still, the laughter and entertainment far outweigh the menu issue. If you’re in LA and want a night filled with laughs, The Comedy Store is definitely worth it!“

“Beautiful Place Can’t wait to do again“

“Walked in and it’s like getting smacked in the face with Studio 54 nostalgia—million disco balls hanging from the ceiling like they’re auditioning for a 70s fever dream. The vibe? Oh, it’s cool, no doubt. You feel like you’re one martini away from rubbing shoulders with some washed-up rock star.

Now, the music? Yeah, it’s good, but it’s like they cranked that dial one notch past “let’s have a good time” and into “blow out my eardrums.” It’s loud, but not the fun kind of loud. We’re talking borderline distortion. It’s like they hired the DJ and forgot to hire anyone to adjust the soundboard.

But the staff? Gotta give it to ‘em. The bartenders are fast, I’ll give ‘em that. Drinks could’ve been better though. Not terrible, but you know, it’s one of those nights where you’re sipping a cocktail and thinking, “Eh, I’ve had better from a mixology YouTube channel.” At least they don’t make you wait an hour to find out.

And the door crew? Top-notch. None of that power-tripping bouncer nonsense. These guys were respectful, polite even. Almost makes you wonder if you wandered into the wrong nightclub. So, yeah, it’s got some pros, a few cons, but if you wanna feel like you’ve made it to disco heaven, this place’ll do the trick—just maybe bring some earplugs.“
