“We came to Fresh Harvest Buffet yesterday for lunch, and overall, we had a really nice experience! The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the seafood selection. We purchased the lobster ticket and really enjoyed being able to try the different seafood options. There was a great variety of food, and our family had a wonderful time eating and spending time together.

I did want to share one small concern from our visit because I think it could make the experience even better for future guests. At the ice cream station, we didn’t see anyone available to assist us, so we noticed other customers lifting the front window to get to the ice cream. When I tried to do the same, the old lady staff member yelled at me and then handed the ice cream bar to me in a way that felt very abrupt. I understand there may have been a specific way we were supposed to get the ice cream, but there wasn’t anyone there to explain it, so the interaction caught me off guard.

I hope management can take this as constructive feedback and perhaps provide some additional customer service training or have someone more visible at the station to help guests. I think a little more communication and friendliness would make a big difference.

Other than that interaction, we really enjoyed our lunch and were very happy with the food and seafood selection. We appreciate the hard work from the rest of the staff, and we would definitely consider coming back again!“

There’s hardly any places out there that really focuses on those extra little efforts of making their own sauces and pastes. They even go with fresh pineapples instead of canned. I can go on forever about the food and its flavors! Tip: If you love chicken satay, you’d love their Pra Ram! Overall, the entire experience was wonderful! Service was amazing. I work in EMS and had ordered food before getting sent out on a call. By the time I was done, the restaurant had closed. Instead of canceling it, Bryan went out of his way to bring the pizza to the hospital to make sure I still got it.

That kind of service is rare and genuinely appreciated after a long shift.

Pizza was great — hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed.

“Edit: After ordering again several times, they’ve become more consistent. Our order was incomplete on UberEats. They did not add tofu to our mixed vegetables like we had specified, and our vegetable tempura was very overly salty. I will most likely not order from here again however it is one of the very few restaurants that deliver to Plumas Lake via UberEats.
I would highly suggest trying the vegetable tempura with less salt.“
