“One of my all time favorite restaurants, we drive almost three hours just to eat here. Worth it! The menu is unique, exciting, and delicious. The dishes always taste amazing and look stunning. I’m always impressed with every dish and the amount of effort I know goes into it. They never waver from their quality in both food, platting, and hospitality. This is a restaurant run by a family and you truly feel a part of it when you dine here. Support small businesses and eat here!!“

“we came in for dinner at 6 on a Friday night. The restaurant was dead empty and it took well over an hour and we never got our food. We asked several times how much longer it would be and they just kept telling us it would be soon. We were then told it was an hour an hour wait when we ordered but we were not informed of that when we placed our order. The staff was incredibly rude and just standing around the whole time chit-chatting and doing nothing. We ended up demanding a refund to go someplace else.“

“I met the owner, June Atkinson out walking one morning and, as a newcomer to the area, was so grateful for her friendliness! Just had a wonderful lunch, tried her Santiago’s sampler plate, the portions were ample and so tasty!“

Since their move down to Alta Sierra, the magic has only grown. The new owners, Barbara M. and David M., have elevated everything while keeping the heart of the place intact. And the staff? They feel like family. Amy and Dakota are truly the best—warm, attentive, and always smiling. The food is authentically and consistently delicious. Their chile rellenos (baked, not fried!) are perfection, and the fish tacos are flat-out unbelievable. Whenever my family comes up from Silicon Valley, Casa Las Katarinas is always our first stop. “A 10 year old boy was very very happy to have a Celiac safe burger. after learning that there were Gluten Free options he spent the rest of the day trying to convince me we had to try Pine Street Burgers. it was very worth it. we look forward to our next visit! also I loved the garlic and onion cheeseburger🤤“

“The nutburger was very crispy, almost like a fried chicken batter consistency. It's a nice change from moister, chunkier nut burgers, so set expectations right. There are many sandwich options with tofu, tempeh, and commercial veg burger patties, plus Veganaise, vegan "honey mustard", and even Violife cheese! Vegan options are labeled AND anything vegetarian can be made vegan. Homemade cookies are vegan (chocolate chip OR peanut butter oatmeal). One of the owners is vegan! So they are super friendly and knowledgeable.“

“My wife and I love going here for breakfast once in awhile. Jose and/or Patrick are always our waiters and make it fun. They always make sure we have the best service while we are their. Cannot go wrong here for breakfast with their menu. Everything is always good no matter the choices.“

“Grew up eating B&R 31 Flavors unfortunately I now live in Northern Minnesota and there isn’t any B&R but I always got either Mint Chocolate Chip or Bubblegum was really disappointed they didn’t have any my granddaughter wanted that and so did 2 other little girls waiting to order“

“As a local Grass Valley resident this is one of my favorite Pizza places. I love that we can order by the slice I believe any kind of pizza you want and the slices are huge big enough to share with a friend. I've also had sandwiches and their fries they were fresh hot delicious! I don't drink myself but it certainly was available lots of variety of beer and people seem to be enjoying it“
