“Omg, hands down the best tacos in the 626. And trust me, I’ve had my fair share from TJ Tacos to Tacos El Gordo in San Diego and even Taco El Franc. This spot is legit. The line every night says it all.

This time, I ordered the baked potato with cheese and lengua (tongue). Absolute perfection. They serve it with handmade corn tortillas that take everything to another level. The meats here are packed with flavor. My usual go-tos are the al pastor, cabeza (cow’s head meat), and tripas (beef intestine). Next visit, I’m eyeing the sausages, stomach, and carne asada.

And their salsa? To die for. It’s fresh, spicy, and ties everything together perfectly.

The team here is friendly and clearly takes pride in what they do. You can taste the care in every bite.

They’re parked right on San Gabriel Blvd with a solid setup. The ambiance is just right, and honestly, the only thing missing is some outdoor dining space.

“This little stand is so cute. They're just on the corner by the bus stop and their food is pretty good. I had two tacos and fell in love quickly. I bought a burrito to take home for I think, $10? Pretty reasonable considering how big it was. Salsas are self-serve, and there's a table and chair if you'd like to eat it immediately.“

“What more can be said. This wonderful restaurant offers some of the best Mexican food in Southern California.
We ordered the torta de asada, taco superior de buche, asada nachos and an esquite.
Every single bite was a wonderful experience.
I added the mango habanero sauce to my torta and it paired so well, it added that sweetness to the torta that elevated the food. The taco was also absolutely amazing.
None of the food was dry or bland, the tortilla was even delicious on its own. I would highly highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite and try the Aguas Fresca too!

“I stumbled upon this family-run marisco joint. Friendly and fast service, they take credit card. Ordered a super mixto ceviche that had every kind of seafod on there, and 2 orders of tacos Dorado, which are deep fried shrimp tacos with sauce and avocados on top. Very delicious! These kind people make such excellent, authentic Mexican street food that I am speechless, and I just want to dance! The food looked so good that we completely forgot to take a photo, and everything was so delicious that I only remembered it when we had almost finished eating.

But I think with the fantastic sight of the hanging chorizo sausages, you can imagine how great the plate looks!

“This spot sells mesquite grilled chicken as a street stall. Prices are reasonable and their seasoning is SO good. Very good street food.

their chicken was charred and cooked perfectly, still juicy with each bite.

Included is: Grilled peppers, some salsa which was light and easy to dip, grilled tortillas, pickled peppers and onions, Spanish rice, and some of the best beans I've had. Beans were smoky sweet and flavorful with chicharron inside.

Would come back for some bomb grilled chicken that's for sure!

“I first visited this place five years ago, and it was amazing—one of my favorite taco spots in L.A. I’d been wanting to try it again, and recently, while visiting SoCal, I had the chance to stop by. While it’s still pretty good, it doesn’t quite feel like it used to. The tacos are smaller now, as is the trend with most places in L.A. I’m not sure what happened, but I’m guessing one of the main tortilla distributors started making them smaller, promoting it as a selling point so that trucks don’t have to use as much meat and ingredients. What surprised me here, though, is that the tortillas are handmade and yet they started making them smaller. I still enjoy them—they really are the closest thing to a Tijuana-style taco. The flavor is excellent, and the guacamole is fantastic! All in all, it is still worth it to make the drive because where else can you get handmade tortillas and thick, gloppy guac? Here!“

All of the food was good but some of us ordered the Thanksgiving Pasties and they were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend Ghost Town Grill over any of the faster places at Knotts. Ony request for Knotts- bring back the Boysenberry Gin & Tonics! They were FABULOUS and we were so disappointed you took them off the menu!“

“First time at Tacos Raul and I was seriously impressed! I ordered the wet burrito and it was so good, flavorful meat, perfect seasoning, and a generous portion. What made it even better? It came with a horchata included, which was super refreshing and tasty.

Service was fast and prices are cheaper than other spots I've been to, but the quality doesn't feel cheap at all. The dining area was clean and not overcrowded when I visited, making it a really chill spot to enjoy my food. Plus, there was plenty of parking outside, which is always a win.

“They have cute macaroons and large cookies as well as ice cream of you wanted cookie sandwich. The chocolate chip cookie was just right. Not too gooey. The price is just slightly above average but considering the style of macaroons, its would be justified. The artful details on the cookie would be worth with if it was a little bit larger. The attendant was helpful when I asked for ingredients on the cookies due to my food allergies. He was pleasant. I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location.
I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.“
