“We have been coming here for several years and it is DELICIOUS. We bring our out of town guest and they crave this when they go home.

The food is FRESH. The atmosphere is good (great music and clean restaurant) and the service is excellent.

We have tried almost every roll on the menu and the specials boards. There isn’t anything we would avoid.“

“I’m always skeptical of poke places as they need to be very clean for me to feel
Comfortable eating there. Upon walking in the store smelt fresh and the counters and tables were clean. They have two sizes, a small bowl or a larger option. We got the larger option for $17 and some change. The portion sizes were very big. They give you lots of rice and or salad- I got half and half. You get 3 protein choices. The tuna chunks tasted very fresh. I also got albacore with corn, edamame beans, cucumber and crunchy topics. My finance got all rice with crab and spicy tuna and some fruits and veggies on top. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back! Even though it’s a lot of food it’s fresh and healthy so definitely a good option.“

“I freaking love sushi and this place has to be the best in the area when it comes to quality of food. Now normally I will crush an AYCE because I love to eat a lot of sushi, but if I’m looking for great tasting quality stuff, this is the spot. In my recent visit, I sat at the bar and the chefs were very nice and friendly. There was a list of items of fresh fish that they offered on the wall and they all exceeded my expectations. One of my favorites was the blue fin spicy tuna hand roll. I will definitely be back for that.“

“Our favorite local sushi spot they have the best sushi deals!! We always order the tempura ice cream and the Mailbu Roll is our #1 favorite along with the Ichiban roll and the fried rice roll which we just tried for the first time. Yummy I already want to go back.“

“Food is good. Favorite chef Iggy is great. HOWEVER... I had a very bizarre experience eating there last night... I came in about 5:30 and ordered my food - all you can eat from a sushi list menu. Everything good so far. Two other people came in separately sat in the chairs next to me. They ordered their food and ate. We talked for about an hour. The server brought me a bill which included all three tabs. I told the cashier that I had ordered individually and expected to pay for my own meal as I always do and not for the other two. The woman, who said she was the manager, told me that I could not pay individually as it was their policy not to split tabs on three or more people who were apparently together on more than two credit cards. WHAT? I have eaten there many times before, talked to others near me. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. There were no signs on the wall indicating that if you ate next to other people and collectively tried to pay with more than two credit cards, they would not allow you to do that. The others said they would pay their tabs on a single card. I was off the hook. As far as the manager/server goes, what kind of an intellectual genius would make up and try to "enforce" a policy like that? I've eaten there on and off for years. Make no mistake. I'm never eating there again.“

“Food used to be very good here under Tony. From 9.5/10, I would rate it now as 8/10. It is still good but I want Tony back if I want to enjoy my food here. This is my go-to sushi place and we are regular customers here (once to twice a week) but I've been gone for over two months so now that I'm back, I just learned that Tony is gone. Gotta bring him back!“

“This was my third visit to Sapporo Sushi, and it continues to impress every time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they take pride in their craft. Their rolls are consistently packed with flavor and never disappoint.

The staff is always friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. On this visit, the place was bustling, but we were lucky enough to be seated right away. By the time we left, there was a waitlist, which just goes to show how popular and well liked this spot is.

If you haven’t tried Sapporo Sushi yet, it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!“

“I will never go to any other sushi spot in the Inland Empire after having eaten here multiple times this year. Enough said. Try it, and thank me later. 5 Stars. P.S.-Get the Dodger Roll (pictured, avocado on top). The sushi plate(pictured) with 13 pieces is about $40 but worth EVERY penny. ?“

“Rating the service here poorly because of the long waits and poor attention to our table of two. We were seated immediately but waited over 10 minutes before we flagged our server for water. Time goes on and we continuously have to wave someone down for service. To order and when the check came. To top this off the employees were gathering and talking at another table where they knew the customers. Despite the poor service the food was extremely good. We would like to give this place a second chance only because of the delicious sushi.“

My review..
Ryu is my new fav sushi spot. They’ve not only kept their AYCE when most of my other favorite spots gave it up, they’ve actually perfected it with smaller portions allowing you to try multiple roll without filling up! I LOVE this!

And to top it off, when I arrived for their lunch time AYCE i was informed they currently have a price special which I believe is going on all through Nov2024! So normal price for lunch AYCE (before 3pm) was only $30! Thats by far the lowest price in the area with this quality.

The service here is always wonderful, today was no exception. My server was fast and attentive, i never had to ask for refills and the food came out lightning fast. I had 2 rounds off the all you can eat menu and I didn’t wait even 5 minutes before it got to my table.

“Sweet Sapporo roll was very good. As well as the salmon roll. The salmon sashimi was very fresh and tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere was good too. I recommend this place very much.

“We love Benihana. We are always excited to find one in the town we are visiting. The Benihana in Temecula was by far one of the best we have been to. The host, the server, the chef, the food….everything was on point. Very impressed with the Temecula Benihana. We will be back for sure! Thank you for a great experience.“
