“I’ve been coming to this spot since it was the Celtic Raven, and I happened to walk in on Chela’s Cantina during its soft launch. I’ve been a regular ever since day one. The owner is phenomenal, and the crowd it attracts is just as great! friendly, welcoming, and full of good vibes.

There’s always something to do here: enjoy music, grab some food and drinks, hop on karaoke, or play a round of pool. While the alcohol selection is smaller compared to bigger bars, it actually introduced me to wine spirits and gave me a new appreciation for trying something different.

If you’re looking for a small, local atmosphere with a strong sense of community, I highly recommend Chela’s Cantina. It’s truly a hidden gem!”

“The atmosphere is very much like grab n' go, but if you need a place to sit and quickly enjoy some food it's good too! The tamales are good, the pan dulce is good and the champurrado is delicious! The champurrado is not too sweet which I really appreciate coming from a family of diabetics. Pricing is fair, they bake everything there so it's definitely worth it!”

I moved away from the area and havent been back in over ten years, but it was one of the gems I was looking forward to visiting, if it was still standing. To my absolute delight, the Teriyaki Masudaya is still standing! I had the pleasure of stopping by last week to eat my favorite there, their house plate with beef, chicken, and prawn alongside a salad with their signature dressing.. and I was so happy to find that the recipes have been passed down from the original owners, tastes just as good as I remember.
