“I was in town for a wedding from the east coast and struggling to find a place to watch a hockey game. I called Hooby’s and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. It was truly such a pleasure to meet Cassie, Jackie, Nick and Courtney and should I ever find myself in Winters again, I will be sure to give them more of my business. I can't reccomend this staff any higher and the pizza was also such a treat, I was a particular fan of the supreme and the garlic chicken.“

“Fantastic venue and good beer. I love coming here after a day at Lake Berryessa. Also there are some great pictures behind the bar, very accurate portraits. My main concern is that the rainbows are rare and infrequent. When they are there, it’s truly magical. When they aren’t, it’s quite disappointing. Please work to make your rainbows more consistent.“

“The Ocean is so devoid of atmosphere to the point that it has a certain respectable charm. But besides that the staff is friendly and accommodating to requests and the food is well prepared, American style Chinese. My favorite place for Chinese lunch, dinner and takeout.“

“This place is hands down the best mexi food i have had in a long time. All is home made and ingredients are bought fresh daily. The two owners treat you as family and even gave my kids quarters for the gumball machines. I would recomend this place to anyone.

“Hidden treasure in the resteraunt desert we have here. This place is delicious, every time. Well, don't order through a takeout app, I think you get the old stuff then haha. But if you call ahead for pickup or go in person it's super good. Love the goat curry and the samosa Chaat. The chicken Tikka is great too but my partner said it was spicy for her. I loved it. Definitely recommend. Never eaten at the place but it seems like a good vibe, I live close so I always just get it to go.“

“The Punjabi Dhaba in Dixon is delightful for its lack of pretense and good food. It is located at a freeway exit and the entrance to the restaurant is quite dangerous at night. Regardless, it is nice to find good north Indian food in the Sacramento area which has surfeit of bad Indian restaurants. The restaurant is convenient for truckers and hence is called a Dhaba. We ordered Chole, sag paneer, chicken biryani and mango lassi. All the dishes were tasty and not too spicy. It was the best Punjabi food we had eaten in some time. It was also a good value. The restaurant was fairly empty when we went there on a weekday evening and the surroundings were simple, but quite serviceable. A very nice dinner experience.“
