“This place is an absolute hidden gem. Went with a friend for brunch and after being there only a few minutes, we knew we’d been missing out by never being here before. Lush beautiful and super comfortable seating, the most interesting and mysterious atmosphere and decor and relaxing jazz music playing over the speakers at just the right volume (a few brunch places in Stockton that we’ve frequented have become intolerable due to the music and overall atmosphere being loud). Bloody Marys were delicious, as was my Eggs Benedict and my friend’s Chicken Caesar salad. Host and server were both friendly and prompt. After brunch we took a little self tour of the different seating areas- so cool with a historic, contemporary and retro feel. I’ll definitely be back with my husband on a Saturday night for Jazz at the Ghost Lounge and as for brunch with my friend - this is undoubtedly our new place. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“My colleagues and I came in to share a meal and it was great, but not just because of the great food and music playing in the background. Our server, Kimberly, was a delightful lady and was always coming in to check on us. We’d finish our waters or our meals and she’d come right up to the table as if on queue despite how busy she was. Very friendly and helpful, we were never waiting for help. Truly exceptional service. Thank you Miss Kimberly!”

There's enough variety to please every palette, and the quality is 'Italian Cafe' perfect (just get there before they run out of your favorite). This little, nothing-fancy place is a gift to everyone living around Lodi....I hope they appreciate it.”

A very disappointing experience tonight. Ordered 2 pizza for delivery around 7:50. They even knew our usual order, great. So, we waited. It’s Friday night, they’re probably busy, we understand. But by 9:00, we wondered. And at 9:10 we called. That’s when we were told they thought we’d ordered for pickup. Our food had been sitting there the whole time, & the employees had “wondered”, but no one bothered to look into the matter. And then we were told it was too late to deliver. Mistakes happen, but it’s how you handle them that sets a business apart. There was no apology, no attempt to rectify the mistake. Next time, we’ll order from Fat Mikes.”

“So tired of paying big bucks for food that tastes like cardboard. But California Al’s did not disappoint. Absolutely the best burger in Lodi❗️ Large portions, EXCELLENT flavor. Fresh handmade burger patty with all the trimmings. Great service as well, waitress was very attentive and personable. Saw people with huge breakfast platters as well, everything looked amazing. “It depends on which Nation's you go to. San Leandro is great, Stockton is good. So far the new location in Lodi isn't living up to expectations. The food is good; the problem is getting the food you actually ordered. Half of the burgers we got today were made wrong even though the orders were taken correctly. So far Lodi has done a good job with the pie we have come to expect from Nation's.”
