“I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

“Hot, yummy, and always satisfying! We really loved Pizza Guys — especially the garlic roll appetizer. It was perfectly crispy with lots of garlic and cheese. The pizza is affordable, tasty, and reliable; we’ve been ordering from here even before moving to San Carlos. I’m excited to try more of their crust and sauce options next time. This location also offers vegan cheese, which we really appreciate. The owner is kind, the workers are humble, and the service is consistently good. We also love their pickup deal — spend over $25 and you get a free drink or ice cream. After pizza, we decided to watch the calories and grabbed a giant bottle of water instead 😄 Super convenient and always a great experience.“

“My family and I were searching for a great pizza spot near San Carlos and stumbled upon Impasto through Google Maps. I managed to snag a reservation just an hour beforehand, and I’m so glad I did because there were only two slots left. Shortly after we arrived, the place packed out—in the best way possible.

The interior is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I couldn't stop admiring the color palette and how well the entire design came together. Even the small details, like the flower vases on the tables, were incredibly thoughtful.

Our server, Jackson, was fantastic. He gave us great recommendations and, refreshingly, didn't make us feel uncomfortable when we decided to skip drinks that night—something that happens way too often at other places.

Every single thing we ordered was incredible, from the pizza and the roasted beet salad to the veal cannelloni special and tiramisu.

My only minor hurdle was the initial confusion with parking, but the hostess kindly cleared that up for us so we know exactly where to go on our next visit. We will definitely be back!“

Got their daily special 2 one topping slices and soda for $12. The cheese and sauce were equally tasty sauce being zesty and cheese with just enough of the tang I’ve been looking for. “Was excited to try Tony Gemignani’s “Apricot Fields” slice (exclusive to Mountain View), and he did not disappoint. Chalk up another winner that went great with our Cal-Italia, and the Wise Guy. A little Hot Honey and extra fig preserve allowed us to add a custom touch as each desired. Can’t even complain about the wait for a closer Slice House, because I know Tony Respects the Craft too much to rush any location before they are up to the highest standards. Bravo!“

I ordered the half pie deep dish pizza(can’t recall what toppings), which was flavorful and the bread had a nice crust on outside and fluffy inside. The shop has nice inside decor and great outdoor seating to enjoy the nice weather. “We’ve been coming to this pizza place for years over several changes of ownership. But the last couple of times there’s been toppings missing! The first time it happened they took my order verbally and so I figured I would just use the app for the second time but again there was a topping missing. The second time it was frustrating because it was actually the protein on 1/2 of the pizza. I’m not really understanding why they can’t track all the toppings. Despite us liking the pizza and being very local test, I think we’re gonna venture out and try other places.“

The new Mt View location, parking is limited and underground, only 2 tables outside, 4 inside, so small with mostly pick up rather than dine in. Definitely lowering the atmosphere...“

“On the way back for the morning, we stopped by Emmanuel’s Pizza and Bakery to get our lunch. This time, we bought a Large Pizza with 3 toppings ($32 inclusive of taxes) and we chose BBQ chicken, chorizo and mushroom which turned out to be very delicious. They were made-to-order and we waited for about 25 minutes for the pizza to be boxed up, fresh from the oven for us.

Back at our AirBnB, we found Emmanuel’s Pizza to be so delicious! Love the crust and the ingredients were also prepared separately. For instance, the BBQ chicken was so tender and flavourful. The portion and ingredients were also very generous – so much so that we could only eat 3 slices each and keep half the pizza for tomorrow’s breakfast. A really satisfying meal, reminding us that with the experience from Gianni’s and Emmanuel’s, USA does make excellent made-to-order pizzas...
