“What’s not to love about the Grizzly cafe/ Golden acorn“

“Loved this place beyond measure. Had a Monte Cristo sandwich with a side of clam chowder. It was all absolutely phenomenal. The service was the best I’ve had in a while. So friendly. Not to mention the waitress has the most beautiful eyes this side of the Mississippi. High recommend“

“We were in town for the weekend and decided to finally try this restaurant. They open for dinner at 5pm, and the setting is unique, the restaurant is housed in what was once a Victorian home, giving it a charming rustic appeal. I’ll admit, the initial smell reminded me a little of an old Las Vegas casino, but don’t let that fool you. This is the only true sit-down restaurant in town, and if you’re looking for a romantic dinner, this is the spot.

We arrived right at opening, and the bar already had regulars enjoying their evening. We were seated in the main dining room, where it was just us, and another party of four. Kara, who greeted us, was bubbly, personable, and welcoming. Our server, Alicia, was equally wonderful. Both ladies were knowledgeable about the menu, quick with recommendations, and incredibly attentive. They had that sixth sense of knowing what we needed before we even had to ask.

We ordered a nice variety to share: the tempura, seasonal fire-roasted artichoke, fried zucchini and squash, spinach salad, Malaysian shrimp, Pacific cod fish & chips, and the top sirloin steak. Honestly, we walked in with zero expectations, but this small-town steakhouse really delivered.

The food was delicious, but the service stood out as truly top notch. Kara and Alicia made the experience memorable, and for that reason alone, we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.“

“OMG what an amazing little place first of all I would like to say that the food is delicious I had the patty melt with coleslaw and finished it all. the bartender Melissa is amazing super attentive great conversationalist super friendly I felt right at home dining here. I had two margaritas which I really appreciated that she sampled first to make sure that they were tasty which of course they were they were delicious if you are in town this is the spot to go to if you want good friends good food and a family like vibe!!“

“Such a small place with so much heart and a profound sense of peace and calm. At first my phone wasn't connected to the wifi so my phone had no service so it kinda makes you go to the bar or the pool and just relax with people and have a good time. Definitely go, you won't regret it.“

“Had a combo omelet everything was good and hefty serving love how they cook the potatoes. I've been to the one in Rialto and the chilaquilles were bomb there next time I'll try them here to see if they are the same. In general they look like they have a good menu for breakfast all in all definitely recommend. Good tasteful food. Lots of space for truckers also

“My husband and I took our daughter to breakfast for her birthday and it was our first time visiting. We are so impressed with everything. The food was hot and delicious and their coffee is so good. Ray is amazing. This will definitely be our go to in the future. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“

The server wasn't all fake customer servicey and was more genuine with occasional attitude-- which might not be for everyone but made for a more interesting experience and I liked.

Everyone at our table left with a clean plate after having the cheeseburgers. Serving size was a little on the small side for the price.

Kid friendly. Lots of coloring books and toys for kids were in a big box nearby. And older man approached us and gave the remote to our kid to pick a channel. Very sweet.
