“First timer here. The food was good. The fish was fried to perfection, and the portiin size was great. The fish was larger than I had anticipated. The fries were OK ( only because the fish was put on top of it so by the time I went to eat the fries, they were soggy from the Fish). The Cole slaw was delicious.
My kids ordered the chicken strip and I liked that it was battered and fried exactly like thr Fish. Loved the crunch. My only complaint is that it taste like it was fried in the same oil as the fish so the kids said their chicken taste like fish.
The restaurant was not well ventilated. The AC was cranked (I'm assuming for the cooks since I can only imagine that the fryers would get very hot). Unfortunately because the AC was blasting....as a patron, it felt REALLY COLD.
Also, i wish they had a way to vent out the fried food smell. The fried fish smell is very strong when you first step into the restaurant. Obviously over time, you get used to the smell but if they can figure out a good way to air out the place, that would be great.
The guy cooking was extremely fast and efficient..he was the only worker in there and he was knocking out orders left and right.
I would eat here again for sure.
If you are looking for Fish and Chips ... I would definitely give this place a try .

Vegetarian options: I THINK (i don't know for sure) that they fry their onion rings, French fries, and zucchinis in the same oil as their fish,other seafood and chicken so I'm not sure how "vegetarian" that would be.

“We were hungry and this was close with a good review. Come here if you are looking for something different than the regular Mexican fare. Pretty much everything on the menu is a unique blend of flavors. They feature three different mole sauces which were all good. I had the trabajo with my dish which had delicious flavor. So if you are looking for an adventure it's a good pick.“

“We originally had reservations at Boil Daddy. Boil Daddy called 7mins before our reservation to let us know they couldn’t accommodate a party of two because they had larger parties coming in.
We came to Raising Claw & it was the best seafood boil bag & customer service. They start you off with complimentary french fries. At the end they offer yummy ice cream. It was an incredible experience. We will definitely visit again.“

“Fresh and delicious! California Fish Grill offers many appetizing specialties at decent prices. The self service kiosks beautifully display the available offerings. Wait time is fairly quick. The soft drink selections are eclectic and delicious. And there’s a small outside dining area in addition to inside seating.“

“I had lunch today at the California Fish Grill in Anaheim, and the food was excellent. The chef prepared everything perfectly, and I can say that compared to other California Fish Grill locations I’ve visited, this one had noticeably better food quality. I’d also like to suggest to the management that if they offer some special perks or discounts for their loyal, regular customers, it might encourage more people to visit the restaurant frequently.“
