“We have never had bad food at Mi Mexico. Everything is delicious. The owner is always on site- cooking or greeting guests. The restaurant is very comfortable and decorated well. There is a large enclosed porch and a garden deck for summer dining. Always great service! By far the best Mexican Restaurant around Montezuma County!”

“I've had so many wonderful meals at The Farm Bistro and made some great memories with friends and family while eating there. I especially like the Chicken and the Egg salad (my lunch time go to) and the Harissa chicken sandwich with that yummy pretzel bun♥️ I Highly recommend The Farm Bistro!”

“Pickup order of the ped ra chi nee. The bad- shrimp was missing from the dish and the squid was overcooked and rubbery. The good- the duck was perfect, and the curry sauce was very good. I give 2 1/2 stars out of 5 for the missing ingredients and the price for missing them. Would still recommend trying though.”

“Well, I can testify to all those five star reviews. The restaurant was busy but I had no wait. The service was absolutely amazing. The chips and salsa appeared while I sat. The additional cabbage dish was unexpected and delicious. Could make a meal of it. Seemed like the entire staff was my personal wait staff. The food was delicious and portioned generously. As a big eater I got a to-go box. It was a little noisy but only because it is so popular. Nice bottled and draft beer selection. On top of all this it was priced less than the other Mexican restaurants in town. Totally recommended.”

“Where do I start. Food is great. Service was excellent, and friendly. Good atmosphere. Of the five so restrants in Cortez we eat in, this was far better than the others. They were OK, but Destination Grill was gooood.”

“Anytime I’m anywhere near Cortez, I make it a point to stop by Cold Stone Creamery. There’s just something special about this location that makes it stand out from the rest. It doesn’t feel like a typical chain ice cream shop — it feels personal, welcoming, and comfortable, almost like hanging out in someone’s living room with really good dessert.

A big part of that experience comes from the owners, Jeremy and Raedene. You can tell they genuinely care about the store and the people who walk through the door. They’ve created an atmosphere that feels relaxed and friendly, where families can sit down and enjoy time together without feeling rushed. The dining area is clean, cozy, and inviting, which makes it easy to stay awhile and enjoy every bite.

As for the ice cream — it’s honestly the best around. The flavors are incredibly creamy, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are generous. Watching the staff mix everything together on the frozen stone never gets old, and they do it with skill and enthusiasm. Whether you’re ordering a signature creation or building your own masterpiece, it always turns out delicious.

The team working there deserves recognition too. They’re upbeat, polite, and clearly enjoy what they do. That positive energy carries through the entire shop and makes the whole experience even better.

“Traveling thru Cortez - this was by far the BEST Mexican food I have ever had! I had the spinach enchilada plate, my husband had the chili relleno & Chimichanga. I personally don't normally eat everything on my plate. I usually get a to-go box to eat the rest later. We both cleaned out plates! The atmosphere was amazing. 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!”

“Nice casual spot with pizza, tacos (on taco Tues), & burgers (tho on Taco Tuesday) & some other items. Beer, liquor also available at the bar. Pizza made to order was quite decent, esp. for a small town in the middle of very sparsely populated area. Another plus: open fairly late (til 9p on a weeknight) for a dining option in that part of the country--most spots close earlier.\n\nVery comfortable atmosphere. Super staff. Entirely pleasant all the way around.\n\nDon't get me wrong--I wouldn't give their pizza a 5 if it was in a metro. But it's not & the pie's decent. The overall experience is even better, so it gets a 5 from me.”

“Good Chinese food with many options to choose from. Visited this little restaurant recently and was seated and served quickly. The young man taking our order, who I’m sure is the owner’s son, did great at taking our order and making sure we had everything we needed. He even talked us thru the menu and some of the options, including the dinner combos which we ended up going with. I tried the #1 Orange Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein Combo Dinner Special. The Lo Mein ended up being our family’s favorite with the noodles being especially tasty. My parents got the (B) Dinner option, one choosing Sweet and Sour Chicken and the other choosing Cashew Chicken. We got sides of white and fried rice, tried their Wonton Soup and Egg Drop Corn Soup, and the (B) Dinner options came with appetizers as well. Good amount of food for the money, and everything tasted good, but the Cashew Chicken was my least favorite.”

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and they are very careful if you are dairy free to not cross contaminate. The only place my daughter can get gluten-free and dairy free pizza for their family and it is safe.”

It was perfectly made and coffee was rich and aromatic just like the Starbucks in Los Angeles and other large cities. Don't let the bad review deter you. Come in confidence!”

“Very clean subway with huge seating area and parking. The sandwich prepared is above average and the staff is courteous. The beverage selection is good and the ingredients of the sandwich were fresh. Meat portion is little less however the sandwich was prepared fresh. Overall nice restaurant with good staff.”
