“This was the first time we have been here. Lived in Blanca for 9 years and boy have we been missing out. Our initial hesitation was because of the busy traffic location, but we decided to start trying all the smaller establishments in Alamosa so we could make our decision for tasty businesses that we would like to try again. We were greeted immediately by Martha. I asked her what she would recommend. I decided on the Beef Taco Salad and hubby with the Beef Burrito with some Refried Beans on the side. We picked out our drinks from the cooler beside the counter. Then, I discovered something that looked like a good appetizer for me in a glass case on the counter. It was called a Bunuelos. We started chowing that down immediately. Very nice with a hint of sugar. Reminded me of a Rosette that my mother use to fry for us at Christmas. While waiting, I took some snap shots of the facility. Everything was very clean and organized. Hubby said the bathroom was good. After a few more minutes, we were served our delicious lunch. I had asked for some ranch for my salad. They did not have ranch there, but Martha showed her true awesome customer service and went and brought me back some ranch from another establishment. Thank you so much Martha - you are GREAT!!!
The meals were light and refreshing. I especially loved the new take on the taco salad. Never had one like that or similar before. Everyone was so kind and polite. Had to give a shout out to Martha and the cooks. WE WILL BE BACK!! Thank you for being a total asset to this community. God Bless you All!“

“Arguably the best Mexican/Southwestern food served in the valley. I've had rellenos, chicken &beef fajitas, flautas and enchiladas and EVERYTHING has been great. Service is likewise very solid. They are attentive without being at your table every 3 or 4 minutes. Excellent choice for lunch and dinner!“

“We’re from Denver and ate there tonight. The food was excellent and All of the people working there were exceptional. Tilapia was beautifully crusty, the chili rellenos were tasty, and the chicken fajitas were seasoned perfect. Five and a half stars!!!“

Seeing tables of relaxed locals is always a good sign and this off-main-street spot delivers in the best way. Authentic flavors, well prepared and served in generous portions by friendly faces. The stuffed sopapilla was the rock star of our visit, but the asada tacos with homemade tortillas were a close second. Do NOT miss the salsa Verde!“

“We were driving through Del Norte on a road trip and spotted this good truck. Stopped for breakfast and so happy we did. Got a breakfast burrito and breakfast bowl both with green chile and, holy moly, best breakfast, maybe ever! The young man wait g in us was so very nice and the food was exceptional. “We finally made it to this location after living in the area for almost 9 years. We were told that they had some really great tacos and we had to check it out for ourselves. I got to admit that the main reason we never came to this establishment was because of the location which has a lot of traffic especially if you are trying to find parking. No worries, everything turned out great for us and got parking right in front. They also have side parking. Anyway, we were greeted immediately by a great counter person. Could be the owner as far as we know. They had a great colorful dish display of menu items outside on the windows as well as inside above the ordering counter. I absolutely loved that because it made my choice very easy! Of course we had to order a Taco for each one of us as well as a lunch item. I ordered the Nachos Supreme and my hubby a Ground Beef Burrito with Rice and Beans. I have an avocado allergy and they were helpful to oblige.
They had a small iced area with sauce condiments. The green was mild and the reds medium and hotter. Thanks for having the green sauce for this aging tummy of mine. The fountain drinks we had were properly mixed and tasted good. The food was great and the tacos almost didn't need any sauce as the meat was properly seasoned and very yummy. “Reliable spice brand, best producers of Southwest staples and the only brand I can find that has blue corn atole (vs white/yellow). My grandma used to make me their atole for breakfast and I still eat it as a comfort food. This is not a place to visit, I buy their products through Kroger grocery stores.“
