“This taco truck is one of our favorites and we try to find them on weekends where ever they are. My wife and I have been enjoying their great food since I first saw the taco truck at Wads and 64th a few years ago, perhaps late 2022. After trying our plates for the first time that night, we were amazed that I went back to order more, but it was closing. Ever since, we always crave to try different menu options. I couldn’t find any taco truck better than El Mal del Puerco in Arvada, Golden, or Broomfield. The owners are awesome and friendly. We might be going there tonight! It’s definitely worth it!“

“Just had dinner from the truck at May Farms and it was delicious. The burger was cooked perfect and the braised short rib knocked it put of the park. The truffle fries were the cherry on top of a great dinner.“

Hadn't eaten all day, was googling restaurants on our route and this came up. Didn't really look at place, just saw it had good reviews. We were looking for a sit down place, saw the truck and decided to try it. Fast, nice young men and hit the spot. Coke was icy cold! Definitely will go again when in that area.“

“Sure as the sun rises every day, this place is likely to have a line out the door. It’s nice to see some familiar faces working behind the counter nowadays and they seem to have things dialed in a little better than in the past. The flavor selection is interesting and their rotational flavors change often enough you will find something new to love every time you go in. Parking can be a nightmare on pearl but you can park in the neighborhood and hike over.

My only gripe (and warranting a 1 star penalty) is the absence of their best flavor from their core menu. In a savage and deeply personal attack against me, the chief cow decided some years back to discontinue PB&J due to “slow sales”. Apparently eating a double scoop every day for three years for lunch wasn’t enough to maintain the product mix numbers system wide so they broke my heart and tanked it. I’m only half joking but management if you’re reading this know that wound still hurts. Bad.“

“Chivis Tacos is a MUST! When I first entered the place I was welcomed with a warm smile and very genuine service. Each team member showed very genuine service and always brought it with a smile. I noticed everyone in the restaurant seemed to feel the same way I did about the service and also the delicious food. “If you’re looking for authentic Thai food in downtown Denver, you need to check out Liang’s Thai Food on 16th Street in Weltman. It’s a small booth tucked into a grassy area with other food stands, and honestly, it’s one of the best Thai spots I’ve tried.

Here’s what makes it special: there’s literally one person running the entire operation. He cooks your food, serves it, and handles payment—all by himself. I showed up during the lunch rush, and I was amazed at how fast he worked. Orders kept coming in, but he knocked them out one after another without breaking a sweat.

I ordered the drunken noodles with beef and asked for them spicy. Let me tell you, they actually delivered on the spice. My nose was running, my eyes watered a little, but I couldn’t stop eating. The flavor was incredible. The vegetables tasted fresh and crisp, and you could tell he uses quality ingredients. Everything just tasted real and homemade.

The best part? It only cost $13. That’s a solid deal for the portion size and quality you get.

A couple things to know: they only take cash, so come prepared. But the setup is actually perfect for a nice day. There are little tables outside where you can sit and eat. I got lucky with beautiful weather, so I enjoyed my meal in the sunshine.
