“Food is as great, service although very nice but it wasn't attended often and it wasn't attentive at all. We were constantly giving them empty glasses and chip baskets. We were a party of four but for all the dishes the space was overwhelmed. Definitely worth a try for the food.“
“We finally made it to this location and the empanadas were the best as always but no good coffee here. That was a little disappointing since the other locations have an espresso machine and make your drink fresh as you enjoy your empanada. I want to say I tried the mushroom empanada this time and it was delicious. Lots of flavors!!!Parking: This is inside the marketplace.“
“My parents were from Guatemala, so this place is like a touch of family. I opened the packet of thick tortillas, thicker than you get at Mexican places, and immediately thought of mom. They came with my caldo de gallina, a deeply flavored and garlicky broth, with half an avocado and rice on the side, just like home. I wish the chicken breast on the side had been more moist, though. It's probably better to just leave the parts in the broth. My date had the carnitas breakfast, and he loved the pickled spicy relish on his rice and beans, but the meat was flavorful but did taste like it had been around for a while. But everyone was kind, the place is brightly lit though humble. It was just like being at home with my parents.“
“Great new neighborhood spot! Food is wonderful but rather salty, cut back on the added salt-the food doesn’t need it! And it’s loud! Could barely hear myself let alone my friends. Not sure in the small space if there is anything they can do, but it’s loud. Try it though, it’s worth it and happy to have them in the neighborhood!“
“Tried Pollo Lima late this afternoon. The place is small and quaint. The staff was very cordial and excited for people to try their food. They were so nice.Ordered the chicken which was pretty good. Meat was tender and juicy, but I wanted more Peruvian spices. The plantains tender with a crispy crust. Yum.They have a variety of sauces which are fun to try and mix together for different experiences. The spicy pepper sauce was great with the green sauce and was good with the chicken and the fries. The yellow sauce good on rice and as a dip for your fries.I will most definitely return to try a few of their other menu choices or just get more roasted chicken. Some of their other dishes sound very interesting and well-worth trying. Drop in and try some for yourself!“
“Empanadas are a great treat, how can you go wrong with a delicious flaky pastry filled with flavorful ingredients? I had seen Lazo's many times in the Cherry Hills shopping center and my timing was always off, but today it was dinner time and I was hungry. Their selection of fillings is robust and you will be able to find something that is a good match for you. The first one I tried was the Chicken Caprese based on the staff's recommendation. They were right on with this choice and the filling was delicious with chicken, cheese, tomatoes, and some herbs. The empanadas are cooked to order, so it comes out and it tantalizing hot. You want to bite into it so badly, but you have to ease yourself into it so you do not burn your mouth. My second choice was the spinach and cheese empanada which was good, but not quite as delicious as the chicken caprese. Lazo's is a great place to come and enjoy a meal. You can choose exactly how much food you want and order exactly what you want. The staff was kind, cheerful helpful, providing information about the different fillings. I look forward to coming back and trying the other options available.“
“Went to Pereda's for a late lunch! Sat out on the patio. The service was excellent. The Blood Orange Margarita was very tasty! I had the Pollo Al Carbon and it was great. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the atmosphere, We will definitely be back!“
“This is now my favorite taco in Denver. I go here at least once a week for lunch. The barbacoa, al pastor, bistec.....anything you choose will be amazing. It's also super quick and the prices are amazing. I can't think of another place where you can get a fully stuffed street taco for $3.....I usually only need two for lunch.“
“The restaurant is just gorgeous! Very lovely ambiance - a great place to impress a date. We were there for happy hour (3-5PM) and the food was very tasty, while the cocktails really knocked it out of the park! There is a beautiful outdoor area that I am looking forward to checking out in the summertime!“
“My husband and i just visited here last night. It was our first time and i can’t say enough amazing things about this place!!! Absolutely recommend coming here, food was perfect and the drinks were on point. The staff was exceptional. Highly suggest you try this place out!“
“I absolutely love this restaurant. It's to me the most authentic place I've tasted really yummy pupusas and other items. They make the pupusas to order so they are always fresh (I make sure I ask without loroco). The employees are really nice too, and be kind to them if you only speak English, because they are trying their best to communicate with you and make sure you get your yummy food. I just learned (since I'm always eating in) that you order pupusas over the phone you have to pay for them over the phone since they are made to order, they've had alot of people not pick them up. So don't be angry if they ask you to pay over the phone. This is a mom and pop restaurant, a little hole in the wall, so it's definitely a treasure. I always order tacos, their tamales are delicious, and their breakfast is super yummy. Even their hamburgers are delicious.“
“Excellent food, and I have traveled to various parts of the country for my work, and places that make delicious food like them are rare and few and far between.” I recommend it. It is worth it and the price is incredibly incomparable… “
“A+ for menu crativity- Peruvian Sandwich: recommended- Lamb Marguez: wouldn't have it again (bread too hard, sausage too salty, skimpy ingredients, too expensive for what it is)Service too slow, as others mention. Stood there without a greeting for a while until someone took the order. Then waited too much (15-20 min? ) for meals to be ready, all while there wasn't much foot traffic during slow snowy Sat night.I'll probably try the place at least once more, but if I were the owner, I'd focus on discussing customer svce skills with employees and improving wait times.“
