“ThI’m s place is ABSOLUTELY ??????????. I lived in Lima for 3 months and have been missing the Ceviche, Llomo Saltado, and Pollo a la Braza so I tried this place out. It was authentic, delicious with amazing and friendly service. Best Latin food I’ve had in Denver. ITS A MUST GO PLACE.“
“I have only been living in Colorado for 5 months, but this was the best experience I have had going out. The staff was amazing, engaging, and beyond friendly. The food was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fun. I will definitely be going back...again and again. ❤️“
“Great new neighborhood spot! Food is wonderful but rather salty, cut back on the added salt-the food doesn’t need it! And it’s loud! Could barely hear myself let alone my friends. Not sure in the small space if there is anything they can do, but it’s loud. Try it though, it’s worth it and happy to have them in the neighborhood!“
“The small plates were each delicious in their own right. The artichokes were especially good. It was very easy to eat too much. The service was top notch, friendly, always available but never intrusive. I highly recommend SuperMegaBien.Vegetarian options: Almost half of the small plates were vegetarian. I wish the large plates had offered a vegetarian option, however.“
“The absolute best coffee shop in Denver! I ordered the Horchata Latte which was served hot in a traditional red clay mug. My beverage was smooth had a delicate body, a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, and an acidic snap to finish off the experience. There was ample, clean space to sit with friends in the courtyard right outside with chairs and tables. The shop was colorfully complimented with locally made goods, homemade Mexican pan dulce, and offered so much more than coffee. They even make atole which takes me back to my childhood! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. This is my new favorite place in Denver and will quickly become yours too!“
“A+ for menu crativity- Peruvian Sandwich: recommended- Lamb Marguez: wouldn't have it again (bread too hard, sausage too salty, skimpy ingredients, too expensive for what it is)Service too slow, as others mention. Stood there without a greeting for a while until someone took the order. Then waited too much (15-20 min? ) for meals to be ready, all while there wasn't much foot traffic during slow snowy Sat night.I'll probably try the place at least once more, but if I were the owner, I'd focus on discussing customer svce skills with employees and improving wait times.“
“I was there on a Saturday around 4 pm. I ordered an calabacitas quasadilla and it was delicious! The portion does not look big, but it was pleanty of quality food. The quasadilla has another one underneat it.The atmosphere was pleasantly enjoyable. The service was great. I felt like having been transported to an relaxing vacation destination.I higly recommend Sazón.I will be definitely back to enjoy more food and the wonderful ambiance.Vegetarian options: I just wanted a quasadills and did not pay attention to the rest of the menue. But they are clearly marked on the menue and the staff is acomodating.“
“Very, very good!! Fresh, cook to order, Venezuelan style empanada. Light flaky crust, seasoned just right, and stuffed. We order a 1/2 to-go. Small, eat-in restaurant. Would different definitely go back. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE....explained all items in detail. Didn't feel rushed. Very good!“
“This place is delicious! Everything was prepared fresh! They have lots of seating inside and out. There is paid parking in the front but there is a free parking lot behind the restaurant. Highly recommend the double-decker tacos! It's kind of on the pricey side for Mexican food, but it was worth it, in my opinion.Parking: Recommend parking in the back of the restaurant because it's free. They do have paid parking in the front if you can find a spot.“
“Really tasty empanadas - we tried 6 of them total and literally all of them were delicious. The pick up time was pretty fast, too. You can reheat them and there are instructions on the piece of paper inside of your box. I'd say 2 empanadas is plenty for the average person, but 3 would be fine if you're really hungry or trying to overstuff yourself for some reason. I'd absolutely come back here.“
“Don't get me wrong: the empanadas are great. Maybe I'm too old school, but paying $5 for an empanada (delicious as they are!) was a little much. The food is excellent, but you have to pay $20+ to have a "meal." If money is no issue, this is a great place. You're just not going to get good value.“
“Beautiful restaurant in a great location. We had the chips and salsa, ceviche, & potato flautas and they were phenomenal, and left us stuffed! Service and vibe is top tier. Wish I took before pics!!!Definitely recommend this place, you don’t even feel like you’re in Denver when eating here!“
“Excellent Customer Service! Support Our Neighborhood Businesses is Particularly Important To My And Our Community and Combined Nationwide Economy. I hope everyone will support Neighbors and their Businesses. Beside The Food Is Much Better. I will return here again. You Will Too! Excellent Restaurant!“
“You have to eat here!! Atmosphere & service were warm, genuine & friendly and the food was totally incredible!! We had two different soups (black bean & the pozole), cheese, chorizo, poblano dip, the cod & the steak tenderloin with manchego potatoes. The Latin flavors were fresh, flavorful & really well-executed! Every single dish was delish!!! If you are anywhere near downtown or just craving amazing Mexican-type food (they have tacos, tamales & rellenos), this will be a win!“
“Empanadas are a great treat, how can you go wrong with a delicious flaky pastry filled with flavorful ingredients? I had seen Lazo's many times in the Cherry Hills shopping center and my timing was always off, but today it was dinner time and I was hungry. Their selection of fillings is robust and you will be able to find something that is a good match for you. The first one I tried was the Chicken Caprese based on the staff's recommendation. They were right on with this choice and the filling was delicious with chicken, cheese, tomatoes, and some herbs. The empanadas are cooked to order, so it comes out and it tantalizing hot. You want to bite into it so badly, but you have to ease yourself into it so you do not burn your mouth. My second choice was the spinach and cheese empanada which was good, but not quite as delicious as the chicken caprese. Lazo's is a great place to come and enjoy a meal. You can choose exactly how much food you want and order exactly what you want. The staff was kind, cheerful helpful, providing information about the different fillings. I look forward to coming back and trying the other options available.“
