Children's section is great. Books, toys, activities. They even have diapers available in the restroom.
Gets busy, chocolate croissant is bomb. Lower/main level is loud, hard to focus, upper level is way too quiet everyone can hear your every move. Kids area is great, just loud.
Great library with great hours & a coffee bar too.

Smoky Hill Library is a welcoming and inclusive space for all. The library features a large children's section with its own doors, providing a safe environment for young children. The section includes a story hour room and various play areas such as a puppet show, train, puzzles, and a kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful, making it easy to obtain a library card. The library offers classes and events for children, as well as secure computers and printers.
A great media center allows visitors to burn video and music onto CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, cassette tapes, and VHS tapes. The library has a fantastic book selection, including diverse books and special displays like the Black History Month wall. Visitors appreciate the super friendly staff and the ability to rent office spaces for work or phone calls. With a beautiful view of the trees and a calm atmosphere, it’s a perfect place to relax or get work done without feeling rushed. The library also has ample parking, elevators, and accessible bathrooms.
